The hotel is located a 2-minute walk from Copacabana Beach and Copacabana Fortress with an astonishing view of the famous beach and its neighbour Sugar Loaf Mountain. Within basically the same distance are the Arpoador and Ipanema beaches.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 56 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     We spent 9 - 10 special days at the Hotel B&B Rio de Janeiro Copacabana Forte for our Spring Break class. The rooms were nice, and I know I slept well every night in my comfortable bed. I looked forward to the delicious breakfast buffet every morning. The lobby areas were appealing, not dark. Wonderful staff such as Nicolas, Natalia, Douglas, Victoria, João (x 2), and so many others made our stay pleasant. The housekeepers as well as the kitchen staff were really sweet!The staff arranged for space for our class times, even including snacks for an evening film event with directors.I am looking forward to returning next March!

    Dingy, dirty, super unsettling to be inside the room, the lobby is very deceiving nothing like the photos, we didn’t even stay we left that night and booked another hotel.

    Absolutely terrible hotel the room they gave us was dirty and very unacceptable. We left the same night we came. Room was tiny and bathroom was filthy. Pillows were yellow.

    Reception guy very rude!! There is almost no infrastructure, very poor cleaning! There is practically no information about reception or room service... when I asked the guy at reception, he practically laughed in my face! I felt terrible from the first day of my stay! Never again!

    Location: Very handy for beaches.Staff: Without exception [almost] - helpful, friendly and effective.Facilities: Ground floor is insufficient for number of guests. Reading/business room. Very good pool area on roof but small.Food: Pretty good breakfastNoise: This is on the corner of 2 busy streets with traffic all night and road racing in the small hours. You have a 50% chance of getting a room where you can sleep. No soundproofing.Bedroom:No telephoneSome rooms did not have a safe. Some did not work. [of our party of 3 - 1 had a safe that worked; 1 had no safe; one had a broken safe...guy came to repair, left and still didnt work].]Curtains were filthy.Door key malfunction after 2 days.No glasses in roomTile floors with no pads on furniture = regular screeching from above.No wastepaper basket in bedroom.Bathroom:No fan in bathroomBathroom so small that you cannot open the door even halfway.Shower did not always drain - sometimes leaving a couple of inches of waterShower tap fell offSink tap very loose [was repaired]Toilet seat loose2 foot crack in bathroom tiles.
