    Have to Agee with the comments about the lousy towels. One even had a large hole. Otherwise not too bad.     For this hotel location not so bad, very close to ipanema beach and copacabana beach. However, during my stay, there were water leaks right in the dunning room; a big hole on the ceiling on my floor (1st floor); very dirty towels (looks like they were used to scrub the floor); no lobby and the staff not so nice, except for the people preparing and serving breakfast. Talk about breakfast? The same not so good things every single morning. Very lousy place. Plus, there were ants in my room. Not recommended!!!     While the place looks modern, the towels were atrocious. Ratty, old and thin. They really need to do something about the towels. And put a box of tissue in the rooms. It would make a world of difference. The walls in our room were dirty. The place needs maintenance.     Unresolved problem with this hotel.

    My wife and I are staying in this hotel in Rio De Janeiro. We arrived on 25th Feb. and are due to leave on the 28th Feb. We are very disappointed in the hotel. For example the air conditioning unit is located over the access doorway to the bathroom area. Condensation from the unit is continuously leaking onto the floor potentially causing a slip hazard. I am 70 and my wife is 68. If either of us slip on this water particularly when going to the toilet during the night we could be badly injured. We have now reported the matter three times and whilst an operative has attended to carry out some works the problem persists. We have had no meaningful response to this issue from the hotel management. When I asked to speak to the manager this afternoon the staff said they had left for the day. A consequential issue is that we have to leave towels on the floor in an effort to collect the water. The soaking towels are then removed by staff but not replaced. So we had no towels to shower. This unresolved problem is causing us a lot of anguish.     The location was ok. The hotel is rated by trip advisor as a 4 star hotel. Cannot understand why. Te ceiling on the 16th floor and the lobby was leaking, the shower was moldy the towels were dinged and smelly. Look for another location.
