  room is neither sea view nor clean one..

  rooms r less than average quality. We stay there for 2 nights 26th to 27th october 2017. Only breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious but very old patterns . They have some fewer number of double bed . Only window ac is working. Rest just a room with no view. I am talking about standard double bed room .

  Called and made a reservation for 2 nights, checked out of the other hotel, took a taxi to this hotel thinking we had a room for 2 nights only to find there was "some sort of confusion" and the woman who took the reservation was no where to be found, as was the manager, and because the available receptionist was not able to do anything, after much conversation about what happened to our reservation in the span of an hour we had no choice but to enjoy the lovely ambiance of the lobby for about an hour while we waited to speak to someone who "might" be able to help us. Not happy. to be continued...

  I read some bad reviews from 2015 but things must have changed. The hotel is basic but absolutely fine given the price. It's one block from Copacabana beach and the staff are friendly enough. Breakfast is fine too.   haha, this place is pretty bad

  I stayed here a few years back........the place has been around for a long time. The staff were pretty friendly to me, but that might be because I can speak Portuguese and I try to be a friendly guy. There were people having problems all around me.......room not clean, door not locked, stuff missing from room, room too hot, bugs all over the place.......it was pretty bad. I accepted the mistake I had made and just used the room for a quick sleep. Part of the wall was coming down and when I looked to see what was behind, I was kind of shocked.......thousands of beetles behind the wall OMG!! This place is so bad, it is bringing back bad memories. I can summarize by a quick anecdote; I was returning to the hotel by taxi......the driver asked me why a good looking guy like me was staying at a dump like this??....good question.

  Avoid at all costs!

  This is the most downmarket, dowdy, disappointing hotel imaginable. Rooms are from the 1940's, furniture looks like it has come from charity shops or junk yards and the showers have roof plastic for walls. Breakfast is on the top floor and is just a collection of food on a table.
