    Bathroom was not the same as photo of bathroom on website. Does this breach trades description?? Towels were grey and old and not even suitable for drying our dog. We asked to be moved to a renovated room like the ones on the website but the receptionist said "Sorry the hotel is full". There are better hotels in the area for the same price.... choose them instead.

    We booked here because it is in Copacabana, is 4* and has a pool.One out of three, it is in the AREA of Copacabana. The pool? Well, it's a body of water on the roof. 4 star??? Never in the universe of any decent hotel ratings. Dilapidated and used, no amenities in the room, dirty bedding .... the list goes on. No customer service either. All correspondence after the booking was ignored, breakfast is OK but no service but they run after you every time you enter the hotel to ensure you are a guest. I am all for security but then install a system that verifies it, maybe upgrade the lifts at the same time... using a lift feels like a risk to my life. REALLY, just find another option. There are better 2 and 3 star option right here in Copacabana

    The location is not bad, the staff not really unfriendly but why they have the right to be classified 4* is totally incomprehensable.Correspondence before arrival is flatly ignored - but it is obviously because they do not want you to get correct information. The hotel is old and run down, the facilities mediocre, room and bathroom in disrepair and uncomfortable. Sleeping here is rather difficult - the AC is old and very loud, street noise with open windows obviously as well but the room is too stuffy without AC or open windows. Breakfast ist OK but no staff/service available. The pool? Well, it's a pool!Bottom line: I believe there are better options even in 2 or 3 star categories..

    Great staff, great hotel

    Two sisters arrived from Ireland. Communication with staff beforehand was always replied to quickly. Reception staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Day and night staff alike went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooftop pool was so relaxing. I would be happy to stay here again.To the very helpful staff - thank you so much.

    This hotel is at best a one star! Showers and sinks mouldy . Rooms(despite being smoke free) had burn marks on bedside tables. Hardboard on walls in shower peeling off and mould, mildew and dirt very apparent.Electric plugs hard to find and not up to date for charging. Not for plugging I mosquito repellents. Air conditioning looks like it has never been cleaned. Shower heads have they ever been cleaned either??
