    My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. We initially booked a lagoon-view room, but due to availability, our room didn’t have the view on the first night.However, the team handled the situation with professionalism and care. A special thank you to Rodrigo, the supervisor, who was extremely kind and ensured that we were moved to the correct room the very next day once availability opened up, as the hotel was fully booked that night.Not only did they switch us to a beautiful room with a great view, but they also went above and beyond by offering us complimentary breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything and even provided great recommendations for places to visit in Rio. Another staff member Jairo was extremely kind and provided us water and help with whatever we asked.Overall, the level of service was exceptional, and the hospitality truly made our experience memorable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio de Janeiro!

    Pleasant - but not great

    Very good value - but there are reasons for that - its a little far out of the city to make transit in and out comfortable without timing outside of rush hour and even then it will be 60mins in an Uber to the centre of the city. Shopping centres near the hotel have plenty of dining options, but there isn’t much else in the immediate area - though Ubers are cheap and plentiful to take you further afield. Bar was nice, food portions were huge. Beers and wine were fine.Breakfast was extensive and well staffed but I found it annoying that I had to consistently ask for, rather than be offered a coffee refill. Sun beds need an upgrade - very uncomfortable.Lounge was poor when compared to other Hilton offerings in Latin America.The Leblon area isn't far away and is a nice location, plenty of restaurants and bars, near to the beach and has good transport links around the city.Lastly the music - at the pool? Seven (Explicit version) by JungKook 2003 - isn’t the most appropriate - “And that's why night after night I'll be xxxxxxx you right, oh-oh-oh-oh”

    BEWARE! THEY WILL BILL YOU INCORRECT CHARGES!

    Clean hotel in a quiet area away from the crowds and busy tourist area of Copa. The nightly rates were reasonable, but I was ripped off at checkout. I was running late for the airport and did not reconcile my bill before leaving the hotel. I asked the woman at the desk if she would send me the final bill via email. After several calls, I was sent the bill.... about 2 weeks after the stay.....when I got it, I noticed that I was over charged. I have been emailing back-and-forth with the staff asking to them to refund the incorrect charges. I haven't gotten anywhere with them. It has been over a month and Hilton's staff have not acknowledged nor taken responsibility for the incorrect charges. They have been gaslighting me with their responses. BEWARE! Don't make the same mistake I did. Check your bill before leaving the hotel!

    I had a fantastic time at Hilton Barra. The bedroom is large and comfortable, with an incredible shower. The gym and pool are both fantastic with an amazing view as it is locatedi n the rooftop. The hotel itself is beautiful and exceeds expectations. Special thanks to the reception team; Alexandre is terrifc a wonderful gentleman. When you meet him, he becomes your friend; my stay would not have been the same without Alexandre's genuine friendliness. Special appreciation to Vivian, who brightens the lobby with her smile and true care. And lastly, John that works in the restaurant. The hotel wouldn't be the same without him. Hospitality should be his surname such a nice guy.I highlighted these three, but all of the staff members are really kind and professional making this Hilton in particular feel like home. I will definitely return, highly recommended.

    I enjoyed this beautiful Property, spacious room ,nice view and good location. Diner excellent where I want to mention Dani and Paolo doing a fantastic job, Breakfast, Marcelo he is so attentive, Gym , Joao so nice;Front Desk: all the staffs are well training and polite special mention to Jairo is awesome like Rodrigo and Thanks Mrs. Gabriela to be in all the details.
