    We had a very unpleasant and unsafe experience at this hotel.We got stuck in the elevator for almost two hours — and it took about one hour before anyone even noticed. The people who helped were other guests, not hotel staff.The emergency button and the air conditioning in the elevator did not work, which made the situation extremely stressful and dangerous. Several people tried to contact the hotel by phone and email during that time, but nobody responded.We were supposed to stay for two more nights, but after this incident we didn’t feel safe anymore — especially since our room was on the 15th floor. We decided to leave and move to another hotel, but we received no apology or refund.This was a serious safety issue, and we are very disappointed by how the hotel handled it.

    The beds were narrow, sheets were grungy and ill fitting. Bottom of the bed was in tatters. Dusty and stuffy. Room service was a joke. One had to pay extra for utensils and cups and plates. The sink and the bath didn’t drain properly. Front desk was unresponsive to complaints. The safe wasn’t functioning. The pool was a kiddie pool. No laundry facilities, ice, water. We were told to purchase hot water from the kitchen. No complimentary tea or coffee. Towels were dingy and threadbare. Reception staff would listen but not follow up. The phones were not working. The ventilation system wasn’t working. Resulting in nasal congestion when in the room.

    Do not be deceived by the photos online. This was probably the worst hotel we have every stayed. The only great thing was the location in Copacabana neighborhood. The only reason we did not search for alternate lodging is due to our very short stay and we wanted to make the best of the vacation. Here are some issues we experienced: * The towels were not clean and there were no wash cloths. I requested wash cloths and they never arrived- did not arrive the next day either. * After we returned to the room, we knew housekeeping had been there but there were no new towels, my friend's bed was not made. * We made a request for tissue and housekeeping walked into our room without knocking! * The shower are was cruddy and the toilet seat looked atrocious! The beds slide away from the wall and there were NO fitted sheets so while laying in the bed you eventually start to lay on the bare mattress due to the sheets sliding.* Good luck trying to catch that elevator. it takes forever and the capacity is 4 adults* It takes the AC a while to kick in gear. If you leave your room, leave a key card in wall so that the AC stays on for your return. If not, the power goes into sleep mode.*Our view was literally into some other people's apartments next door to the hotel- just insane. Unfortunately, I did not take photos. I just wanted it to end. My photos were away from this place.

    Modern hotel in Copabacana, but poor service. We didn’t get towels for 2 days - how are we suppose to wash ourselves? Hotel itself is clean, breakfast is very repetitive and not much variety. When we arrived the hotel seemed to be over-booked with youths for the Taylor Swift concert. Which is probably why service wasn’t great. There are 3 lifts. If you wanted to take the lift, you would be waiting about 10 mins for one which is ridiculous. The breakfast staff were lovely but service of receptionists was poor. On one night, my brother went to bed and found he didn’t have any bed sheet. He went downstairs to complain and all the receptionist said was “you can go without it for one night” what 4-star hotel receptionist says this?

    Don’t stay here . Worst experience in a hotel I’ve ever encountered.Kez night staff so rude and disrespectful.Scam hotel charging for water which wasn’t told to me wasn’t free. I will be ringing in to make a formal complaint with higher ups .get this place shut down .dirty rooms and staff which barge in your room at 8pm at night .Thieves . DONT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY .
