    The attention of all the staff is very kind. The hotel is very aceptable, clean and in good conditions. If you want to explore the city using public transportation, there’s an omnibus station across the street. Mr. José Carlos from the buffet is very kind and polite. Overall, a very good experience.     Good option if you have to be in Barra.

    A very good hotel. It is clean, the rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, the shower is excellent, staff are very nice, and the breakfast is ample and of very good quality. The location is not so good, but to be honest, in my opinion, Barra de Tijuca as a whole has little (read: nothing) to recommend. You have to take Uber everywhere (I walked a couple of times, but didn´t feel very safe. There is nowhere to eat close to the hotel (though they do have their own restaurant). It´s located about 12km from the beach, and traffic during the day is heavy. As for the beach area, I was at Marapendi (conference). It´s not somewhere I´d recommend for a holiday. At the beach there are some hotels, about 4 restaurants, and that´s about it. Between the hotels and the beach itself is a road that is always busy and difficult to cross. The beach is a long, narrow strip of sand, and (at least when I was there) the water was quite violent, not swimmable, but that might just be the time of year. I wanted to go to a seafood restaurant, but the people at the Argentinian restaurant beside it told me that it was closed because of 'an incident'. So, to summarize, if you´re unfortunate enough to have to spend time in Barra de Tijuca, and you don´t want to splash out for a beach-front hotel, the Quality is an excellent option. Make sure you have Uber on your phone! But if you can, just stay in Copacabana instead.     Executive room is quite wide and really comfortable. The bed was amazing. TV is good. Shower has a good water pressure. Restaurant has a good menu and the food is delicious. This hotel is an excellent place to rest.
