    The owner is an stupid and harrasses his employees, although they are clearing trying to do their best. As a guest, I saw him humiliating his staff. The hotel charges a lot for a service that doesn't correspond, by the way.

    A good place to stay just outside of Rio

    We found the room we stayed at a bit smaller looking and simpler than the photo on the website, but the helpful staff and fantastic breakfast made our stay a pleasant time in Rio. The drive into Rio is best done before 9:00a.m., as traffic is a challenge at any other time. Don't miss out on spending a couple of hours on the Barra de Tijuca Beach. The only improvement I can suggest for the hotel is a list of clear directions, as getting into the hotel is a bit tricky.

    We booked this hotel as the payment should be charged at least 1 day prior to arrival and it was charged on the day of booking. If you're sure of being there no problem but if not, think twice. Bed was very comfortable, a balcony with an armchair gave to noisy street. The aircon was noisy as a tractor so we couldn't use it. Breakfast was good but about 9:30 am it looked like everything was missing and even not enough seats. Breakfast ends by 10:00. A very helpful English speaking girl was a big plus of the place. Barra da Tijuca has a beautiful beach but it is far away from Copacabana and other known beaches, you can get closer to the centre by bus no 302 which makes travelling cheaper (RS 3,80).

    We have definitely left the US 😊. Hotel is clean. Lobby is comfortable. Elevators are not slow. The rooms are prob standard for a Brazilian hotel. Two small twin beds. Shower, no tub. Tile floor. Continental breakfast with standard cold selection, eggs, fruit, breads and cereals. Back of hotel buts up to river that leads to ocean. Small sitting area. Safe neighborhood. Am/pm market 5 minute walk.At night the street is very busy. Beach is about a 20 minute walk. Good location but not in the heart of anything. I would stay again.

    This hotel will charge your credit card for the full nights of your stay if you cancel three months in advance.The manager does not care. Not even a one night fee, the entire nights.Stay away from this place, its just not worth it.
