  The hotel is not good. The reception team couldn’t resolve issues, and the manager was too busy to speak to guests. Rooms are dirty and unkempt. Patio doors do not close properly, letting in noise.We had three different rooms, and cleanliness was an issue in all of them. There were stains on sheets and furniture, and rusty fixtures in the rooms.Although not entirely the hotel’s fault, there is a park nearby where a group decided to play football into the early hours of the morning with music blaring at full volume.Although the hotel did move us and we tried three different rooms, all were of a poor standard. In the end, we checked out one day into our five-day stay and moved to a different hotel, where we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.

  Good and comfortable hotel with exceptional service

  Overall it was a great stay for the 10 nights I spent there!The breakfast was exceptional in the amount of choices and the quality of foods. The room was comfortable, although with slightly worn fixtures and details – but overall clean with really good room and cleaning service. The service at the front desk, specifically Vitor, was a great highlight. He recommended some amazing local restaurants and we came to rely on him daily for advice on navigating the local neighborhood. If I am ever back in Rio I would definitely stay there again!

  Stayed at Laghetto Lifestyle Collection for the whole two weeks of my visit to Rio de Jainero, so it was very important for me to find a hotel that I would be happy and comfortable with Well, what can I say? For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting the quality and service provided to me 😃 The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable and of a very high quality, with great views of the beach 🏝️ from my balcony. The maids visit everyday to clean and supply fresh linen and towels , leave complimentary bottles of water and even little chocolate treats on your bedside table 😊Location is also great, right opposite the stunning beach of Barra Tijuca which the hotel even provide complimentary reclining chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests. The beach is also great, soft white sand and plenty of stalls providing refreshing cool drinks from chilled beers, cocktails 🍹 to fresh coconuts 🌴 and also lots of polite not pushy beach traders selling everything from beachwear, souvenirs to fresh fruit and salad and even cook you a BBQ lunch whilst you wait in your beach chair Location is also great for visiting Rio de jainero and all its iconic sights and attractions, close enough for easy access to the city but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle and crowds and higher prices of Cococabana beachThere is public transportation to get you out and about but I preferred the comfort and convenience of the UBER service which was always reliable and very affordable compared to prices back home in the UKThe buffet breakfast is also great quality compared to other hotels I have stayed in Lots of choices and variety to suit all tastes, I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked omelettes. A la carte restaurant of an evening with 24 hour room service looked of a very high standard, I didn’t try this as I preferred to wander around on an evening sampling the many local restaurants and bars There were a tiny couple of issues, I had no table on my balcony which would have been good to sit at with a meal if I chose toAnd the rooftop pool was a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon or evening but there was very little pool furniture and at busy times there was nowhere to sit and the pool itself needs a few little repairs to the tiles, apart from that it’s a lovely spot to enjoy the view The best thing about this hotel is the staff, always friendly, polite, welcoming and always willing to assist you with anything, always with a smile 😃 especially the lovely Vitoria from Guest services, when I arrived in my room she had left me a welcoming message and a tray of delicious snacks and chocolate treats and cold water, which was very appreciated given my long journey and late evening arrival . She was there at breakfast the very next morning to welcome me in person and also helped me by recommending the best restaurants and bars for me to go to visitThank you Vitoria and all the staff for helping to make my first visit to South America so much more enjoyable! Viva Brazil 🇧🇷😃Make sure you try the omelette 🍳 there delicious 😋

  Comfortable beachfront stay in a nice location

  The hotel is in a safe and convenient beachfront location, right opposite the beach, with restaurants nearby and a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away. The room was spacious and equipped with all basic amenities. The bed was comfortable, although I personally felt the pillows a little too soft for me. The large desk space was very useful, and the balcony with a beach view was nice. The small infinity pool at the rooftop provided a relaxation spot with a wonderful view. The bathroom facilities were good, with good water pressure. The breakfast was very elaborate and delicious, with a wide variety of breads, pastries, meats, fruits, cheeses, and a live egg station. Cleanliness could have been better. The floor had bits of beach sand in several areas, and the carpet did not feel very clean. Also, the bathroom drainage wasn't ideal - water didn't drain properly, likely due to the floor slope being set in the wrong direction.Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

  Great Experience! Love Barra!

  The evening front desk guys Luis and Victor were amazing! They made a great recommendation for us to check out Av. Olegario Maciel for dinner. The room was good. Nice size. Clean but I did notice sugar ants in the snack bar. The housekeeper did a good job of making the beds and replenishing the bathroom. We never ran out of anything during our stay!Breakfast was good. I have sever food allergies and I felt accommodated here. For my birthday they even brought me fruit because I can't eat cake. The only bad thing was the lady at the lobby bar did not know how to make an iced latte. I know it's mainly a US American thing but it's very simple to do. I still thought the lady and all the servers were very nice and warm so it's okay!For the location, I thought Barra da Tijuca was very beautiful and very safe. It is definitely more quiet than Rio. And as a US American, I found it to be of very good value. But I still prefer Ipanema for the higher energy. We ended up spending half of our trip in Barra and the other half in Ipanema.
