Location

This hotel is located 100 m from Ipanema beach and surrounded by attractions such as cinemas, shopping malls (Leblon), restaurants, bars, nightspots and handicraft fairs such as the hippie fair and the flower fair. Rodrigues de Freitas lagoon is just 400 m from the hotel and access to any part of the city is easy and fast: in less than 5 minutes guests can be in Copacabana and it is just 20 minutes to the city centre or the airport.

86 apartments and 86 double rooms are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     The restaurant was very pleasant, I really enjoyed my pizza and Ice coffee. Fantastico staff, very good catering. Food was fresh and natural. Extremely good quality.

    Terrible dirty place/ electrical nonconformities in studio - cockroach …. BAd service- staff dis not know the wifi password. Catastrophic place.

    Everything about this hotel was great. Location is the perfect balance between beach proximity and proximity to restaurants and supermarket. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. I had a bike while I was there and was able to store it with the service staff. Breakfast was also everything I could have wanted and more: delicious fresh fruit, huge variety of fresh pastries, a full hot buffet of eggs etc, various coffee and juice options, and a great atmosphere in the dining room

    The Mar Ipanema hotel is an excellent value. It's only two blocks from the beach and near the local businesses snd restaurants. Their prices are right, it's clean, comfortable, quiet, excellent gym, real good food, friendly, helpful people.     Very good family hotel! The location is tremendous! Nice staff, which was very helpful, especially in the reception and the porter. The breakfast is ok but not the best. The rooms and beds were nice and quite clean. I can really recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Rio.
