    Great hotel poor communication

    Overall we had a great stay. The breakfast was lovely. Lots of fresh fruit and various pastry and cakes, staff were very attentive with the amazing coffee and fresh juices. Only small issue is the bathroom needs more ventilation. A great location to either copacabana or Ipanema. And area felt very safe, lots of extra security as Shakira was here for a concert on the beach which was amazing. The hotel send a payment invoice 5 days before arrival which wasn’t expected as normally pay on arrival. So was a bit suspicious and communication was hard between hotel and Expedia. But it was legit. Trying to get final invoice receipt is proving difficult, Communications with reservations is extremely difficult. Still waiting for receipt 3 days after check out.     Orla Copacabana helped make our trip exciting and enjoyable. we were there 8 days and visited the beach 8 days because it was beach property. love the views, the people, Brazil and Carnival was awesome. we would stay there again.     i stayed at this hotel as it had good reviews and 4 stars i immediately saw roaches i asked some locals what they thought of hotel and they told me it had a reputation of roaches i covered the drains with tape that i always carry to block the roaches from coming in from drain i could not handle but after a few days and moved to another hotel Juan Lema, Owner at Orla Copacabana Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback.
