    Precioso hotel na praia do Rio de Janeiro

    An excellent hotel where we renewed our stay five times throughout August. We stayed for 22 days. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Viviane, at the reception, displays exceptional empathy and rare professionalism. The breakfast is excellent, and the entire restaurant staff is very welcoming, especially Vania. The menu, both for lunch and dinner, has good options and offers ocean views. The hotel is directly across from the beach, accessible only by crossing the traffic light. It has a pool for exercise and a small, very well-equipped fitness room. The hotel's location is excellent, and the side and front rooms are picture-perfect with sea views. There's parking, and we felt safe. We will return to this hotel, where we felt in a rare welcoming environment.     Missing money lack of communication but loved everything else

    I loved the location and the breakfast at the hotel and my stay would have been perfect if my first night in my room money was missing for my room 300reals to be exact. Not sure if it was housekeeping or maintenance. I’m a college student and I saved aloe of money for this trip so this effect my advantage in Rio. I did report it and the First Lady I talked to was very helpful but unless I went to talk to them nobody connected me with updates or anything. I’m starting to feel like they are doing to drag this out until I leave Rio on Tuesday. I just wish I got little more information and help through this situation. Battle the language barrier and threats outside.     All staff are easy to get along. You can always ask questions and they try to entertain all queries .In terms of linens, bedsheets are also clean.The location is almost perfect with clean environment .The breakfast opens on time and foods are ok .Next to beach area with clean surroundings .     Great New Year’s dinner and stay

    I spent New Year Eve at Novotel Barra.I highly recommend it.The New Year’s dinner was amazing, and I hope everyone can have a great 2025.Staff was very attentive, Laila, Adriana and the chef took good care of ourselves.     Just a standard 4 star hotel in a safe area of Rio

    The hotel is located in one of the safest area of Rio, on the west side, about 30 min driving from the touristic sides. I was a bit upset cos they didn't give me a room before 2pm, although I arrived at 9am.i know that the check in starts at 2pm but usually hotels provide you with a room earlier if needed. Staff is kind although they don't explain you much at the check in. Every day I had a problem opening my room and had to go to the front desk to solve it, which was done quickly. The pool area on the top floor is very small and sun beds are uncomfortable, I suggest you to go to the beach instead, which is just in front of the hotel, just crossing the street. Room is ok but nothing special, a bit dated but not much to complain about it. There is not much choice at breakfast but at least the quality is good. I used the restaurant once and I liked my meal.
