    This hotel appears very good from photos. Pool looks great with a bar. Nice restaurant. Bar. None of this is real. There is no working bar!! The pool is little more than a plunge pool. No pool bar! The restaurant is open spasmodically. Not every evening. The hotel charges your minibar for water. The free toiletries consist of a cheap shower gel only. No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. The towels are old as are the sheets. The duvet was ancient. There was no coffee machine for coffee other than at breakfast which incidentally was very good!!!They charged for leaving luggage on the departure dayThe price paid did not resemble the price advertised on booking.comOn the whole we were disappointed with our choice

    Hotel was good. It’s in a busy neighborhood with shops and restaurants but away from the beach. The subway is about 5-10 min walk away.The room was nice and we had three beds. Clean and comfortable. I liked the restaurant here. The breakfast and dinner food was good. Would recommend.

    Excellent location (2 metro stations to Downtown, 3 to Copacabana, 6 to Ipanema), hearty breakfast, decent rooms, amenities and care. Roof-top pool and gym, nice home-away-from-home in the Marvelous City. We stayed for 40 days and plan to come back.

    We had booked a deluxe twin room but were given a small, very uncomfortable room on the ground floor.It smelled very bad, the bed was falling apart, stains on the toilet seat, on the towels, on the pillowcases, on the hairdryer and on the curtain.The small window looked directly onto a small, dark inner courtyard with noisy air conditioning.Due to the lack of cleanliness, we decided not to stay in this hotel. We were promised that we would get our money back. This has not happened to date, not even through Booking.com. The hotel has not responded to my enquiries at all.It looks good in the photos, has a fancy name, but I cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

    The price was very good and the location was great. Close to many shops, bars, restaurants and sightseeing. Definitely worth it! The bed and pillows could be a bit more comfortable, but for 2 nights it was fine. The staff was nice and the room was clean .
