Good value in a good location. Slightly dated
15 Jan 2026
This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. First time was in 2008. It feels like a lot has not changed over that time and is getting a bit dated. Staff are great and the pool is a highlight. Overall is good value for money in a good location. Will probably stay again but hoping the rooms and hotel in general get a bit of a refresh

Not the five-star it's sold as, yet a safe choice
22 Feb 2023
This is basically a convention hotel surrounded by medical practices not far from a dirty beach and away from ALL major attractions in the city - in theory and in practice, not the best choice for tourists in Salvador or those visiting it for the first time, it's a fact.No wonder it is often busy with congress members, groups from other states or patients from the hospitals and clinics nearby. That being said, it is not a bad hotel at all, though some update and renovation is urgently needed.Staff is most kind and friendly, be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant. Rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is assorted, parking is available at a (high) fee. TV has tons of channels, internet works really great, the pool is not to be missed. This was my third time in the hotel and each had a fulfilled purpose. Just make sure it is the right choice to meet your purpose.

Thanks for the rating and comments, Mr. Victor. We are glad that you returned to our hotel for another stay and that you were satisfied, especially for the cordial service of our employees, diversified breakfast, spacious rooms, meticulous cleanliness, variety of TV channels, excellent internet and our semi-Olympic swimming pool. Our guests love the location of the hotel, precisely because it is in a central location in Salvador, with restaurants and shopping malls around and with easy access to anywhere in the city, whether for tourism, leisure or business.Fiesta is the most traditional hotel in Salvador and is undergoing several updates, as you can see in our rooms, lobby bar, restaurant and saunas. Soon we will have other news.We Wih you come back soon.Att,Quality Manager

2 Star at best
15 Aug 2022
Advertised as a 5 Star on Booking.com, it is a 2 Star at best, Crowded reception, No social distancing, Restaurant closed for a function so only a few tables available by the pool, food awful and not as advertised on the menu, one item advertised with prawns but just 8 dry maize balls served unaccompanied. Pizza served in a box, Elevator queues because each elevator has an operator inside with a chair meaning less space and no social distancing, no masks used anywhere by staff. Rooms dated, A joke
Departamento Vendas, Vendas at Fiesta Bahia Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Mrs.In Brazil, there are government agencies that are responsible for awarding stars to hotels and that is how the Fiesta's 5 stars were achieved.´Crowed reception is a sign that, as it is a good hotel, it is full. Sometimes, when the guestes arrives at the same time, we have a lot of people in our reception. The rules regarding social distancing have already been relaxed, but our employees continue to wear masks, despite the fact that even on planes it is no longer necessary to use them.We are sorry that our food, always so praised, was not to your liking. As the hotel was full, elevators were controled by operators to control the flow of people, because, in general, people don´t obey the maximum allowed limit. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations.Att,Quality manager

Good or Bad, hard to say
01 Jan 2022
This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one "tapioca" or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

Thank you so much for your rating and comments.Fiesta Hotel is located right in the center of Salvador, with grate access to all tourist attractions, from Pelourinho to Lagoa do Abaeté or even from Farol da Barra to Farol de Itapuã. In fact, to get to know all the sights of the city, you will need a car, regardless of the place you choose to stay. Our hotel has a classic style and all rooms are been renovated. We hope to surprise you in the next opportunity. In fact, at this time, in summer, we have a lot of clients in vacation and we´ll be glad if our clients undertand this.We wish to see you soom.Att,Quality Manager

Unfortunately, my wife and I experienced more cons than pros:1. Only 1 of 2 room keys worked even after swapping twice2. Outlets only on 1 side of bed - hotel offered extension cord3. No complimentary water even though check-in person said so - water was delivered but required purchase4. Shower was good5. No instructions for safe - needed a maintenance call to operate6. Only 1 towel in room - needed to call twice in 2 days to get more7. Internet did not work for more than about 5 minutes - even following maintenance call to reset the router8. Original language sound on TV not available on most channels.9. There was a definite mold smell in the room10. Floor was not cleaned11. Toilet did not flush fully - often took 3 or 4 flushes12. No in-room extra blanket - yet another housekeeping call13. Breakfast buffet was good
