  BAD EXPERIENCE

  I bought a room with a king size bed and instead I received one with two individual beds. Also asked for and adaptator for electric light and they wanted to me to buy buy one instead at a very high price!!!! I couldnt believe it. At the end I forgot some shirts, they told me they were going to follow up though e-mail (dont know why they cant communicate on a call o whatsapp) and at the end NEVER get an answer of follow up.It really sucks this hotel.   Great Hotel

  The Melis Paulista is a great hotel. Staff are wonderful. The rooms are very nice with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is delicious, especially the omelettes. Very convenient to shopping and good restaurants. Also easy walk to the Museum of Art São Paulo. They arranged for a private tour that was really good to the wineries in São Roque and the city of São Paulo.   Best first visit to Sao Paulo

  We had an amazing stay for our first visit to São Paulo in mid-August. Being right on Avenida Paulista was excellent, making it so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go.The morning staff—including George, Georgina, and Davison—were truly exceptional. They provided fantastic suggestions for exploring the city, and their guidance on safety and directions proved invaluable.The rooms were always clean and comfortable, and the gym and overall amenities were great.   I had stayed at the Meliá Paulista on at least two occasions before 2020. My impression is that the quality of service and personal attention at the front desk and in housekeeping has improved over that period. Special kudos to new front desk trainee Pedro for his effort to make sure we were pleased with the hotel's service and facilities.My only disappointment was with the hotel's breakfast (café da manhã) that was included in our daily room rate. Here's why:It was nearly impossible to find seating together for our entire group of four travelers when we had café da manhã (breakfast) at 8 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9 AM. Also, many of the items, including fresh fruit, were "picked over" and limited at those times. Even ordering an omelet was a difficult exercise, compared to our experience at the Windsor Palace hotel in Copacabana, where we stayed for 16 nights. It was not until I had café da manhã by myself at 6:10 AM on a Sunday morning, that a wide array of fresh selections was available and the waiter actually asked me for my omelet order.
