  I can't express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the accommodation. If hell exists, the hotel seemed to be the entrance.   During my recent stay at the São Paulo Nações Unidas, Affiliated by Meliá, I encountered significant issues with the Wi-Fi service, which negatively impacted my overall experience. Below is a detailed account of the problems faced:1. Weak Wi-Fi Signal in Room:Location: 21st FloorIssue: The Wi-Fi signal in my room was consistently weak, showing only one bar of signal strength. This made it difficult to perform even basic online tasks, such as checking emails or browsing the internet.Impact: This significantly affected my ability to work and stay connected during my stay.2. No Wi-Fi Near the Pool Area:Location: Pool AreaIssue: The Wi-Fi signal was non-existent near the pool area. As a guest, I expected to be able to enjoy internet connectivity while relaxing by the pool.Impact: This limited my ability to enjoy the amenities of the hotel fully, as I could not stay connected while using the pool facilities.Steps Taken to Resolve the Issue:Reported to Front Desk:I promptly reported the Wi-Fi issues to the front desk. The staff acknowledged the problem but were unable to provide a solution that improved the signal strength in my room or near the pool.Checked for Alternative Networks:I attempted to connect to any alternative Wi-Fi networks provided by the hotel, but all available networks had similar signal strength issues.Considered Wired Connection:My room did not have an accessible Ethernet port for a wired connection, which could have been a potential workaround.Explored Public Areas:I tried working from the lobby and business center where the Wi-Fi signal was slightly better, but this was not a convenient or comfortable long-term solution.Recommendations:Upgrade Wi-Fi Infrastructure:I recommend that the hotel upgrade its Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure stronger and more reliable coverage throughout the property, especially on higher floors and in common areas such as the pool.Install Wi-Fi Extenders:Installing Wi-Fi extenders or boosters on each floor could help improve signal strength in guest rooms.Provide Wired Internet Option:Offering Ethernet ports in rooms or providing portable Ethernet adapters could be a valuable addition for guests who require a stable internet connection.
