Can someone please explain to Wyndham what customer service means
07 May 2025
Yes the room was fine. Yes the location was good. Yes the price was reasonable. So why the 1* rating? We paid £55/night stay & we had an organised trip the next day before our night flight home to London at 11pmSo we asked how much to extend the room stay as we wanted to shower & change before our flight - £60 for 5 hours was the reply!I pointed out that I'd paid £55 for the entire stay but the reply back was that the rate needed to be for the full nights stay since they were "full occupancy"I asked how could they be full if they were charging me a full night rateThey then backtracked a bit & said it was for 5 hours use of a new room as we had by then checked out in disgust. We obviously didnt bother & managed to freshen up in the bathrooms at the airport.I will never stay in a Wyndham again as they just dont get what customer service is all about about. We weren't asking for it for free but to be realistic & allow us to retain our original room, prior to housekeeping at a sensible price

Booked this hotel online. I asked for a late check out for 15:00 or 16:00 after I booked. To my surprise I got an email saying no problem checking out at 16:00. The checking in process was a breeze. The staff wasvery friendly and helpful. The room was exactly what I saw online. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

Awesome service... No amenities

Wyndham Berrini is positioned in a good area of São Paulo. It is close to some of the best malls in town (Morumbi Shopping, Vila Olímpia, JK Iguatemi) and just 100 yards from a furniture mall that has good eating options in its food court if you want to go with a quick and no so expensive meal (D & D Mall). This hotel has no pool, no sauna and no gym and that is for sure its downside. Breakfast is regular (scrambled eggs, cakes, sweet and salty bread and fruits). The best point of the hotel is the service. Front desk staff is absolutely awesome and really helpful namely Taymara, Antônio JB, João e Matheus. The waiters are, in spite of being very young, really attentive. Housekeeping is also great. I was on the 13th floor and Joana kept my room always shiny. I should add another negative topic: I asked for silverware to eat a fruit in my room at the lobby Bar and they said that a 10 Reais fee would be charged what I don’t think is reasonable. All in all, if you want to stay in a nice spot of São Paulo enjoying good service and a clean and regular room this is the place to be. I really think the price is reasonable for what is offered. Hotels in São Paulo are usually expensive.

Slowest Check Out ever seen

If you want to see a front desk officer moving smoothly in slow motion, not caring at all that for most of the guests of this hotel beside the WTC time=money, stay here. The bathrooms and Bathtube could need an update too.
