    Fantastic stay in Feb half term 2025. Welcoming & friendly staff, the room was spacious and warm, the reception was a social hub with a fab bar (excelldnt barman nick), loads of drinks and very reasonably priced (the pool table the most expensive at circa £4 a go!). Our 10y old loved playing with the resident chess grand master!The spa was a great end to the day. My husband and I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Our children did not starve but they are little pickier than us! We took pasta for them which we cooked in our kitchenette. A 5m walk to the gondola. We would love to return.

    Good Base for Exploring Bansko and Pirin National Park

    Pros: Great views of the mountains. Kids loved the pool. Buffet dinner was quite good. Apartment was a good size. Cons: 8 lev for a game of pool is cheeky! Buffet dinner was okay but go early as things can run out / not get topped up. Hotel bar was closed. No air con in room.

    We were presently surprised as a family group of 7 how much space we had in the apartment. It was plenty for us, basic but did the job as we were out all day. Fresh towels were given every day. The kitchenette is basic if your planning on doing any self catering. But we did have a washing machine which was helpful. We enjoyed the pool and spa area after a long day skiing. The negatives were the lobby bar was closed and there was no shuttle to the gondola. This may have been as it was coming to the end of the season. Its short walk to the gondola though if you take the track to the left of the hotel. Sign posted to supermarket. Luckily we were able to leave our skis and poles at the gondola, so only had to carry our boots. We were half board, but wouldn't bother again. Breakfast was sufferable but like warm at best. We were putting our breakfast in the microwave to heat it up. We tried dinner twice they gave you a choice to choose from in the morning. Starter, main, side and dessert all came oit on separate plates and at the same time. Again it was cold.

    We honestly loved this aparthotel and would very happily return. Our 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious, warm and well equipped (2 adults and 1 teen). Comfy beds. Bathroom had plenty of hot water and a heated towel rail. Nice soft towels, ask for extra if needed. The cleaner came every day of our 5 nights. We hired robes from reception for 10lev to wear to the spa. Pool table is 5lev per game. We really liked the steam room and sauna, maybe a jacuzzi could be added in future? We were up and first into breakfast at 7:30 on the dot as we got the 8:00 shuttle to the gondola every day, although you can easily walk it. We all thought the food was great! Very European and something for everyone. Toast, bread, cereal, fruit, cheese, meat, salad, hot sausage, eggs (boiled and scrambled), eggy bread, beignets, pastries, cakes, biscuits and plenty of coffee and juices. Maybe the hotel could start breakfast a tiny bit earlier e.g. 7:00 or 7:15 during holiday periods as it would make all the difference in getting in the gondola queue by 8:00? We didn't try the evening meal but it cost 22lev adults and 11 lev kids. Shout out to Costa on reception who really went the extra mile printing out our boarding passes for our return flight, despite being really busy, he should get a bonus for his helpfulness!

    Great value hotel, with nice additional facilities and friendly staff.Stayed with family in a 2 bedroom apartment, well appointed with TV and kitchenette, 1 shower bathroom and 1 en-suite with a corner bath. Listing says sofa bed in living room but we didn’t have this but 2, 2 person sofas. Perfectly sufficient for us as son is only 9 so slept here instead of sharing with his sister.We’d say the apartment was basic but comfortable.The apart hotel has a reception area with a bar and pool table. The on-site restaurant offers a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold options which vary each day. Nice coffee machine and juices on offer.We had half board and evening meal was buffet with good hot and cold options which again varied each day. Meat offered was either pork or chicken with various cold meats and salads too.Outside there are nicely maintained gardens and a small children’s park.They also have a swimming pool, which is a nice touch but does need refurbishment. Tiles are loose on the pools floor and daughter cut her foot.Downstairs they have a nice spa facility offering saunas, steam room, salt therapy and a fab cold water pool.They also have a good offering of spa treatments available at good prices.It is a short 5 minute walk to the gondola station, but they offer a free mini bus shuttle in the morning and afternoon.The whole place is of good 3 star property but could do with some refurbishment.
