    We had the absolute best time here last week. We had a junior sweet with large balcony. Room equipped with toiletries, dressing gown, slippers. The hotel does have old decor but that gives it a very cosy feel. All staff polite, smiling and welcoming, food amazing, ski hire below hotel. We would most definitely return to this hotel and had the best week skiing. Thank you Winter Palace.     Not great experience. Bedroom dated and mattress was heavily soiled and worn out. Dont book balcony room as about 50cm×50cm. Tea and coffee not replenished. Had to pay for extra coffee. Be careful as minibar very expensive and will try and charge for items not consumed.Breakfast staff were friendly! Reception were barely helpful. The cleaner in the gym area was napping curled up in the relaxation room wrapped up in a towel.All very odd. I can not agree with your comments about the mini bar as there is a clear price list on it so the decision if you would like to use it us up to the guest. I take your comments about the reception very seriusly and will follow up your with the Front office manager. I can not agree with the comment about the gym cleaner sleeping as we do not have such position and your comment that she was sleeping wrapped in a towel is somethig that i find extremly odd. I believe it was a tourist that looked simiral to a member of our house cleaning staff.     Mixed review. Lovely staff and breakfast great. Bedroom was supposed to be a junior suite with balcony but balcony tiny.Mattress was ancient and sagged badly. Housekeeping did get us a topper.Spa was lovely and pool.     We had a fantastic week in Borovets staying here. Our room was big and comfortable, the hotel was quiet but we appreciated that after a day skiing and plenty of breakfast choices every morning. Lovely bar area with nice cocktails, we had dinner in the restaurant which was authentic Bulgarian food and the Spa was great.
