Location

This hotel is situated in the heart of Burgas city centre and guests will find restaurants, bars, nightspots and shops within 50 m. It is 100 m to the nearest links to the public transport network and 1 km to the sandy beach. The town of Pomorie is just 15 km from Burgas and the popular Sunny Beach resort is 35 km from the hotel. It is 2 hours' drive to Varna and Burgas Airport is just 10 km away.

Facility

11 junior suites, 3 suites, 90 single rooms and 56 double rooms are located on 20 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 2 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath, a spa and massage treatments. A dance club and a casino round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. Great food and friendly service await guests in 2 air-conditioned restaurants. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    I stayed there as a single traveler, from August 3 to August 7. Everything was fine in the beginning: Centrally located, fine clean room, etc. HOWEVER: The pool is a shallow pool; the Casino, at least in Black Jack, has digitalized betting, which people who like the chips as a betting method might not like. This is my complaint: At check-out, which was this morning, upon leaving, I got called back to the Reception Desk. They asked if I used any of the supplies they left in the Fridge. I did, and answered yes. I took a ride back to my room with a member of the staff, because I said I was not aware of charges for it, or a price menu. The price menu existed: It was in a ledge above the fridge, in an off-to-the side, very non-prominent location, which you could easily miss, if you were not purposefully looking for such a menu, and don't tend to read all hotel literature. I had stayed 4 nights. I probably drank bottled water, Perrier, and Carbonated drinks, to the tune of 3-4 each per day. I also ate the chocolate and various chips and nuts they left, to the tune of less than 5 per day. The bill Reception gave me was 137 Bulgarian Lev, which is roughly $80, or 70 Euro. So, this Hotel, who are otherwise okay, need to improve their method to inform their clientele that they are charging them for the supplies in the Fridge which they give, when I certainly didn't ask them for it. Their Breakfast is very good, and was included in the hotel's price. So this blindsided me, and was quite expensive.

    Extremely rude and incompetent service from the employees. Not suitable for business and conference activities. Rules for the peace of the hotel guests are not followed. There is no traceability in the documentation. The employees between the back and front office do not communicate with each other.

    The hotel is completely renovated.Its situated in the center of Burgas, best location. Spa and casino’ is still under renovation. Good service, elegant style. Good breakfast. Completely recommend. Best price possible. In the center of the city

    Very good service. Clean rooms and lovely breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights and felt good. Did not have time to visit the spa. The bar is cosy and sufficient as a hotel lobby bar. The rooms are very clean and Violinen the standard of a 4 ⭐️ hotel.We will stay here again on our next trip.

    Excellent location in the city center. The hotel was recently renovated and the facilities are in good condition. The service was acceptable, the breakfast buffet was rather average in terms of variety but I can't complain about quality or quantity. It's a solid choice for a short business trip.
