Located at the heart of Burgas, this hotel lies within a few paces of the local sandy beach and offers guests picturesque views out over the peaceful bay. 5 suites, 7 single rooms and 55 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel & SPA Primoretz and were extremely happy with our experience.The hotel was exceptionally clean, the breakfasts were excellent, housekeeping was very good, and the staff at reception and throughout the hotel were always professional, friendly and helpful.A very special thank you to Aneliya, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Overall, everything was excellent and we left with very positive memories of Primoretz. We would happily stay here again and can strongly recommend the hotel.

    2 stars would be my actual review except for the fact that as a solo traveler I had a guide who would have known if I went missing. (The beach access, the pool, and the room with a bathtub and great shower and with a Black Sea view secure two beautiful solid stars.) Otherwise: this hotel is frankly terrifying! There is NO light in its hallways. Imagine that, especially if your room is at the end of a dark hallway. To find the gym you have to navigate underground and wind your way up; I finally balked at the underground pool and retreated.. is this a communist hangover? Does the KGB still operate here? Unclear.

    We would have rated 5* for- some of the more senior staff (pool, parking, cleaning)- the outdoor swimming pool - the location - the beach access- restaurant food was good- beds were very comfortable- cleanliness - relatively quietBut we have been very disappointed by- some of the younger staff (inexperienced and inefficient) - the spa that was mostly inoperative due to maintenance issues => a big let down for us- the smaller outdoor pool inoperative due to maintenance issues as well - guests booking sun lounges with towels- eerie atmosphere in the corridors because of lights automatically switching off (should be at least remotely triggered so you don’t walk in the dark)We are sure the hotel can fix this and we would then gladely come back and give 5 stars.

    Stayed here last year for exactly the same reason, for business on my tour of Bulgaria.And it’s still up there with one of the best rooms I’ve stayed within the prices bracket.     I stayed at Grand Hotel & Spa Primoretz and unfortunately had a negative experience. The hotel is very old and clearly needs renovation. The interiors are dark and feel outdated — definitely not what you expect from a five-star hotel.There is no coffee, tea, or even a kettle in the room, which is quite surprising in 2026, especially for a “grand hotel.” On top of that, the fitness center is paid, which was also disappointing.Breakfast is quite poor, with limited selection and not up to five-star standards. Restaurant prices are like in Switzerland, but the quality of food and service is far below that level.Parking is expensive as well. Overall, the hotel feels poorly maintained and badly managed. In my opinion, the positive reviews do not reflect reality — I would not recommend staying here.
