    Poor restaurant

    rating01 Sept 2023

Resort itself is very good . But the restaurant on site prices are double of all other restaurants food ok but service poor they brought out all mains and starters together so went cold quick when I said take one of starters away the young waitress said she couldn't because she had given the order to the chef when trying to talk to her she just walked away very rude. The pools are nice but not once did I see the pools get cleaned there is some black mould on the tiles at bottom.there is no private beach as advertised. The beachfront and roads are like the UK in the 70s. Beach restaurants are ok for food but are just wooden shacks. Wouldn't come back.

    Bad

    rating09 Aug 2022

Parking maffia there asking crazy prices. More expensive then Monaco. Very bad apartments and rooms. Very bad tales on the floor near the swimming pool, not safe, very slippery. Everything is falling apart and food is not good, not healthy choices. I have been there 2 times, is getting even worst. Please if you can avoid it.

    Overpriced and overrated.

This year my wife and I decided to visit Green Life resort for the first (and probably last) time in our lives. We spent a week there in the wonderful company of friends of ours so the vacation went well, but it was mostly due to the people we were with, not the hotel itself.Don't get me wrong - the hotel is nice, the rooms are OK, the pools are OK as well and the beach is wonderful. That said however while we were there there was a lot of construction going on at the hotel as the complex is expanding so they are building new houses right next to where we stayed. The housekeeping women don't speak Bulgarian or English, I presume they were Russian or Ukrainian, which is not a problem, but makes communicating with them harder. The morning we stayed there they knocked on our door to clear the room at... 9:03! Of course this woke the kid up before they could understand that I'm telling them that the kid is still sleeping and I want them to clean the room later. In the days that followed I just used the "do not disturb" sign every morning, which helped a bit as they were still cleaning the rooms next to ours. The bathroom was moldy and smelled bad. The parking was absurd - you have 15 minutes to park on the road inside the hotel and move your luggage - otherwise, you have to pay. That time is not enough so you have to part at the parking that is far from your room and either carry your luggage on foot or pay for the luggage car to take it to your room (tips are optional, but it is common sense that you pay).In conclusion - we would avoid going there for at least a couple of years.

    Not recommended

    rating22 Aug 2019

The place needs maintenance, especially the rooms/ apartments. Doesn't cost a lot to replace the mouldy silicon in the bethroom or at least to bleach it. The bathroom door didn't close properly, the front door was hard to open. The Aircon was mouldy inside and water came out of it-water went on bedside table and part of the bed. Cobwebs on arrival and stayed for the whole stay although room was serviced. The studio we stayed in felt smaller than a normal double room. Food was not great. Cannot recommend it and definitely will not be going back.

Time for the beach, this is the place

Excellent location. The beaches of Kavatsite and Smokinia are magnificent. The complex consists of many Mediterranean-style buildings. All of them are located in a perfectly maintained green area, perfectly suited to the name of the resort. The multitude of swimming pools and playgrounds, combined with animation for small and large, make it ideal for families. We were in a studio and it was fully equipped for our needs. The only thing we didn't like was that they tried cleaning between 14 and 16 hours, which is not acceptable. The woman she was cleaning spoke only Russian (although there are mostly Russians), which was not a problem for us, but we are still Bulgarians.Everything else was level. The food was delicious and everyone will find something for themselves. We had breakfast and dinner. The last day, for some reason, the guest parking was locked and getting the car from there proved a challenge for some of the departed. At the same time in the area of the complex there were numerous parked cars that should be lifted with a spider because they were obstructed.Better coordination in management would be helpful. Our general opinion is positive and we would visit the place again.
