A wonderful place that exceeded my expectations!

A wonderful place that exceeded my expectations!A wonderful place that exceeded my expectations! I really can't believe I'm reading so many negative reviews here. I came back a week ago from a vacation at this hotel and I have wonderful impressions. The staff was well trained and very kind, the room was clean, spacious and well furnished, and the food - magnificent! I read reviews that there are no spaces in the parking lot - people, who forces you to go there by car!? And why do 2 people have to arrive with 7 suitcases of luggage!? Who needs that!? I personally went with less luggage and by direct bus from Sofia. I'm ashamed of some of my compatriots who pretend to be high-life but lack basic education. Only a complete simpleton would enter a restaurant during a meal naked to the waist, showing off their sagging fat belly!Regarding the beach - yes, you have to reserve sunbeds in advance, because there are not enough for the hotel guests and this may be a problem that needs to be resolved! Regarding the towels in the rooms - they are changed ONLY at the request of the client! There is a sign in each bathroom about this issue, and this is a global practice in many large hotels. Everything else is truly magnificent – a magnificent park with exotic plants and beautiful flowers, cleanliness everywhere in the complex, a clean beach – there I personally saw workers cleaning up the seaweed thrown out by the sea in the morning, the snack bar has pizza, drinks, ice cream and snacks from 10 am to 5 pm! The food in the restaurant exceeded all my expectations – specialties from Bulgaria and from all over the world, Asian and Mexican cuisine, seafood /shrimps, baby octopus, squid, mussels/. Congratulations to the chef and to the two boys who were at the grill in the heat and behaved authoritatively and professionally. The staff in the restaurant was well trained and very polite, special congratulations to the man from India who came here to earn a living! I had a truly magnificent vacation in this hotel!

A praised hotel that does not live up to its stars. The capacity does not correspond to the number of guests, the parking lot is full, there are also no places on the beach. After 08.00 everything is "reserved" with towels thrown on the sun loungers. There is no one to follow up on this. The food is nothing special, sometimes old. The restaurant is also small for the number of guests. It is not worth the money, they clearly rely on old fame. I do not recommend!

    Survived to tell the tale

    rating10 Jul 2025

If you’re looking for a place that combines the chaos of a Beirut parking lot, the hygiene of a bus station toilet, and the customer service of a late-socialist corner deli - congratulations, you’ve found it.Parking - remarkable only by its absence. You’re sent to park by the main road, 400 meters from the complex. If you somehow make it inside, you’re thrown into a game of “vehicular Tetris” with cars blocking each other in all directions. I was held hostage for 90 minutes while the front desk just shrugged.Receptionists - apathy in human form. I was casually given a spare key to someone else’s room without being asked for ID, or even my zodiac sign.Rooms - exhausted from life. The tiles feature stains worthy of modern art, while the bathroom drain emits the unmistakable aroma of urban despair. Towel replacement? A mythical ritual that never occurred during our six-night stay.Dining - if you enjoy long queues, shapeless frozen food, and getting zapped by the food counter, you’ll feel like a gourmet pioneer. Expect to wait over an hour for a table and cutlery. The rest is a deep-fried apocalypse.Infrastructure - a true sewage carnival. For several days, waste made guest appearances at the pool bar and generously scented the entire complex.Pool - the sunbeds fold under you like cheap political promises. The injury risk is complimentary.Beach umbrellas - only for early-morning ninjas. By 7 AM, they’re all gone. The cherry on top? The owner - a specimen of arrogance - blamed guests for the chaos in the restaurant, while his personal dog roamed the supposedly pet-free complex like a VIP.To be fair, the facade is green and lovely, and a bellboy and the pool bartender were rare lights in this tunnel. Sadly, the tunnel smells like sewage.

    Pleased to come home

    rating22 Sept 2024

We have recently returned from a holiday at the Laguna Beach Resort and Spa for which we paid extra for all inclusive. What we received was nothing like we were told.1. There were no pizza or ice cream available anywhere.2. Very limited what was available at the snack bar, just some biscuits that were the same all week and some open sandwiches. 3. Jacuzzi and indoor pool were unheated switched off on the 15/9 2 days after we arrived and we had 5 more days to stay.4. Food was cold at every meal everyday, we went into the restaurants at 1145 and the food was already out and we weren't allowed in until 1230 there was no heat on the food.5. Carpets were very dirty in the main areas and bedrooms.6.Bathroom was very dirty specially round the taps and inside the shower.7. Staff not very friendly, concierge was very pleasant.8. Bed linen and towels were vey clean.Overall very disappointed with the holiday and was glad to come home.

Definitely not 4 star, 2 at best, not a good experience

    rating17 Sept 2024

I know it's near the end of the season but that's no excuse for the lack of amenities available. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are not heated. Food is running out and not replenished ie tea bags, coffee machine not working, no ice cream or pizzas in afternoon. The food is always cold and poorly cooked. The beach is dirty and not looked after. Half the sunbeds are now chained up for the winter. The bathroom is very dated and in need of repair. On the whole an awful place in a very dirty area with nowhere to walk
