    Disappointing sea view

    I don’t want others to have the same disappointment as us. We upgraded to a sea view room which was the view of a night club which we knew nothing about.We were kept awake until 6 in the morning on the Friday and Saturday night thankfully it was closed after the Saturday night. I am shocked that others haven’t commented on this.

    Spent 10 day's at this hotel,with my partner, we are on our last day booo..The hotel 🏨 is of excellent standard, Breakfast is of a good standard, in our opinion there is plenty to choose from.You can eat breakfast alfresco, or in the restaurant overlooking the marina..We didn't eat in the restaurant of an evening so can't comment..The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard,lovely thick towels changed everyday and night gowns provided, luxury toiletries replenished every day, Reception staff are all lovely, and always greet you with a smile 😃 😊, and nothing is to much trouble for them.Stayed in a standard double room (room 120) Plenty of room for our needs, [well my missus needs 😄].Air con, worked as it should... Some English movie channels on the TV.Mini bar in the room, a little space left in the fridge, if you wanted to buy milk from a shop for your morning cup of tea. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and smells fresh, even in the lifts! Top floor plunge pool views are amazing, very comfortable sunbeds. Shaded areas if needed. Order drinks from your sunbed. Plenty of places to sit and relax within the hotelBeach towels available at reception upon request. Overall 10/10 stayPlenty and I mean plenty of restaurant within walking distance of the hotel,the old town is just stunning..

    Luxury boutique hotel on the Black Sea coast

    Blu Bay Hotel Sozopol is a really gorgeous , beautifully appointed boutique hotel. We had one week here at the beginning of the season and found it utterly charming. The interior of the hotel is very pleasing on the eye - we had a deluxe sea view room and it was exceptionally comfortable, with high standard of toiletries and bedding. The housekeeping staff were efficient and discreet and worked very hard. The waiting staff were young and very helpful. We had Theodore looking after us in the bar - the drinks were fabulous but not cheap by any means , however we enjoyed the quality and ambience of the bar. We only had breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on anything other than that . We found the continental style layout very pleasing - lots of lovely smoked salmon and salads as well as delicious fresh breads and pastries. The rooftop pool area was a delight with shady areas and very comfortable sun loungers. The manager Miroslav was helpful and polite as was all of the staff on reception! I would love to come back for a holiday here. Sozopol and the Blu Bay hotel are very special!

    Peaceful stay with beautiful harbor view from the room

    We very much enjoyed our laid-back stay at this beautiful hotel in Sozopol. Our room was beautiful with a terrific view of the harbor. Breakfast was very good and the location is great for many restaurants, shops, the beach, and a harbor cruise which we enjoyed. The staff gave us some excellent recommendations for dining out at places with a lovely view of the bay.
