End of season is a no no!!

We have just returned home from Nobel after 10daysUnfortunately the weather was pretty awful for the whole time so nobody's fault.The first few days the facilities were great, food was plentiful, varied and in abundance. Sadly the closer we got to " end of season" as we were constantly told, things got progressively worse. Staff in general were lovely except one particular female at the pool bar who refused to wear a name badge or had her hair covering it, was so surly or non committal she really shouldn't be in hospitality. The night time staff behind the bar especially Tony were fantastic and also the animation guy Antanas( probably wrong spelling) went above and beyond to make sure the last week was bearable.All I would say is, we learnt our lesson and would never go end of season again. Old Nessebar is stunning but again shut up last week of September Love Bulgaria but avoid the last two weeks of the season at all costs as all amenities in and out of hotel close down.

It was really good no complains everything was perfect, the food, staffs everything was perfect and even on 21st it was my birthday they send bottle of champagne to my room without saying anything to them. So overall 10/10

Don’t waste your money!

Wow, where to start?!Location: Right in the middle of no man’s land between Nessebar and Sunny Beach, taxi’s rip you off unless you barter a price before you get into them (we didn’t know that and ended up paying €20 for a 4 minute journey). Train stops nearby to take you both directions for €4 per person.Atmosphere: end of season so very very quiet, only a handful of guests left by the time we ended our holiday.Room: Shower is awful with very little pressure and the hair dryer is no better. Our room was dirty when we arrived, carpet needed hoovered and the cups hadn’t been cleaned properly. No privacy or view from the balcony with a massive tree in front of the room. Bed was comfortable. No safe in room and no instructions on how to get oneValue: we were all inclusive and it was a cheap deal due to the time of year, if I’d paid summer prices I’d have felt very ripped off.Service: food was nice but NEVER hot and no microwave to heat it up. No drinks service in the restaurant so you had to get it from the bar before you went in. Bar served drinks in cheap flimsy plastic cups and staff looked horrified when you asked for a proper glass on an evening. Staff sat huddled round each other in coats and hoods trying to keep warm and looked fed up 95% of the time we were there.I’ve no idea how the hotel has even been rated 4 star, I’ve stayed in better caravans at Haven!

Unfortunately we was put in the rooms at the back of the hotel, was like a wind tunnel no sun at any part of the day. Was here for 10 days and never got our beds changed which was a shame because the actual rooms are a good size and are comfortable. The food wasn't brilliant, most stuff was warm, the best food was at breakfast, rubbish cereal only two hot drinks dispensers so was queuing for drinks. Great place as in the middle of Nessebar and sunny beach but won't be staying here again unfortunately.

First impressions was lovely but let down by some staff members

Arrived at this hotel and first impression was really good. Hotel is immaculate and everywhere was nice and clean. Check in is at 3pm so did have a little wait but that was fine. Room was lovely and spacious and again very clean. Pool area had plenty of sun beds. Reception staff were friendly enough and so was the bar tenders at night and the waiting staff in the food hall. Big shout out to Elena who absolutely amazing and so friendly - she was the waiting staff in the food hall in the evening. The bar staff in the day. Well - every time I went to get a drink it seemed to be an effort for them to make to be bothered to serve. Didn’t smile, say hello or anything just dumped the drinks on the bar and that was it. They were also sitting on the bar surface chatting and on their phones. As someone who works in hospitality this was not a good look or very professional. In the evening after coming back from the amazing old town or the main strip you could not get a table and chair as the bar was so full and people ended up sitting on the sunbed to watch to watch the entertainment. Food was ok. It was either lukewarm or cold. So i stuck to the salads which was ok. Overall hotel is nice and clean but I would not recommend this hotel. Beach is about 10 min walk away and that was beautiful.
