Avoid nice hotel but lacking in customer service, atmosphere and food quality

Currently here on holiday and this us an honest review. The hotel looks great and is clean, the cleaning staff dont stop. The all inclusive drinks are pretty limited. The pool food is limited and the same food every single day chips, onion rings, kebab wraps, burgers, pizza, hot dog frozen salad, fruit bowl and couple of cakes. Not a crisp in sight. The restaurant food is ok but it isnt warm and many people are using the baby food microwave to heat it up. The childrens food is pretty poor as well everyday its fries, nuggets, pizza, vegetables and cooked chicken breast. The evening entertainment is appalling and there is no atmosphere, no atmosphere round the pool either and the music they are playing is dire. The staff at the hotel were pretty much miserable i think their faces would crack if they smiled with the exception of the bloke that was running the activities he is really friendly. Im sick if smiling and being polite to people only to get a miserable stare back and like its a chire to serve you. Lifeguards have the easiest job ever as noone goes in the outdoor pool as its baltic. There is an indoor pool and sauna but the jacuzzi does not work. Have stayed in better 3 stars than this. Also our room was full of mosquitoes and got bit all over despite never opening patio door

Amazing honeymoon ??

I can not fault this hotel it’s been amazing the staff will look after you 100% it was our honeymoon they put a bottle of champagne in our room and left food platters as we arrived late , which was a lovely gesture, the rooms are spacious clean modern the food is varied daily and soo good ?? if there’s something extra you would like that’s not out like poached eggs we got them no problem, the pool bar staff and chef were fab if you fancy I diff type of pizza he would cook for us and the drinks poured were very substantial ?? we will def be back everything has been perfect we had a late checkout and they obliged us with the room for rest of day for free being as they close for season next day but they didn’t have to so this was soo good of them, very happy couple amazing honeymoon x

Nearly 1 week in. 3rd time to Bulgaria, stayed at Melia last year. Booked due to the location nearer bars we like. Yes the pool is freezing. Sunbeds cramped. But food amazing, most relaxing restaurant experience from an all inclusive we have ever had. Very clean hotel. We love The Fat Cat bar and the hotel is a few mins away. Prefer this hotel to the Melia on location and more chilled however we dont have kids eith us and Melia is excellent for kids and food just as good there too. Room is nice, lacks a bit of storage but is fine, shower lovely. Overall better than a 5 star all inc we stayed in Tunisia in June for the vibe, food alone. Just wish the pool was warmer but yes, we would and will return to this hotel.
