  Comfortable room,clean and warm. Delicious food-breakfast and dinner.SPA is as well good, but overcrowded most of the time.No park places available!!!

  We thank TripAdvisor for giving us the opportunity to express our opinion.Since the management of the Grand Hotel - Pomorie has not responded to any of our emails or our request for a refund promised upon our departure.Indeed, we had booked and paid for our stay from October 13th to October 24th, 2025, but due to a sudden rise in my blood pressure, I was rushed to the hospital where an abnormal rise was found due to the sulfur contained in the hotel's thermal poolWe presented the doctor's note noting the rise in pressure and accepted by the hotel.We then had to pack on the 19th Oct, book flight back home.On the day of our departure, the Desk Manager asked for my IBAN account number, just to lull me into a false sense of security, wasn't it? We duly paid Euro 1599. and expected a refund of euro 700 since the 19th Oct/2025.DavidPtito & Lilia Fisher

  Not a wellness hotel

  This is supposed to be a wellness resort. It does have mineral water pools, saunas, etc. However, smoking is not only tolerated, but allowed. The room smelled like cigarettes. I cannot open the balcony as smoke comes in, I cannot sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful sea view, because smoke comes from all sides. The restaurant buffet is decent, but I cannot enjoy it as there is very limited indoor seating and in the fully enclosed patio, a lot of people smoke and there is no ventilation. If you want to enjoy the Black Sea and do some spa activities, and you do not smoke, this is not the place. I do not understand how the hotel management can allow such a blunt violation of the law.

  I am staying here now and I am shocked how inaccurate all negative reviews are , the hotel is gorgeous- great spa with many saunas and pools, fantastic medical procedures, close to shops, restaurants and only 15 minutes walk to the centre. Breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds and cleaned to a very high standard. Direct access to a gorgeous beach- pure heaven! The only slight criticism is , where I agree with some other peoples comments- it would be nice to have a tour desk or at least some info about sightseeing available. Otherwise I truly recommend this hotel for those who want to spend relaxing quality time and improve their health

  Rude, unprofessional and poor excuse for 5 star hotel

  This place is indeed a dump! I read someone else’s recent review and 100% agree with them!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Front desk receptionists were beyond rude and at some point started yelling at me. I asked them for help fixing a mistake a made, I was looked mean and yelled at by both receptionists that they can’t do anything because I made the reservation online. Second time I was yelled at was when I asked for the room keys. I was told rudely that keys were already handed. I spent $2000 for 5 nights. And they couldn’t even help me add dinner for all of us. Instead I have to pay $60 for my parents to have dinner with me. At least let me pay at the reception! But EVEN THAT IS NOT ALLOWED!! What kind of a place is this?! It’s like they hate you! They don’t want your business and oh well they won’t get it next year. Last year, parking was included, this year, you have to pay $12 per day and I was AGAIN yelled at they are only responsible for the parking next to them. Last year, front desk staff was friendly.This year someone has come up with this great idea to stick ugly unremovable bracelet to indicate to EVERYONE not just to hotel personnel that you have paid for b&d and that you are staying in the hotel. The parking fee is only to ensure peace of mind and parking spaces for our guests, because when it is free, especially in the summer, the parking lot is filled with cars of people who are not guests of the hotel. Unfortunately, the parking lot has 55 spaces and we cannot reserve a space for each of our guests. Of course, for guests who do not wish to pay for parking, there is a free parking option, which is located 300m from the hotel.The bracelet ii needed, so that we can recognize the services that the guest has paid for. Please excuse us for the inconvenience this might have caused to you. I also want to clarify that what has been explained to you is that if you make a reservation directly at the hotel we can be flexible about it. But if you have made reservation using an online channel, it is the channels requirement that the guest makes all the modification on the channel and we do not have the right to do anything with the reservation.Kind regards
