  Sometimes it can pay to return

  Great hotel, great locationAs a rule me and the wife never go back to the same hotel twice, partly because I prefer everything being new when going somewhere for the first time and partly because we believe that things are rarely as good the second time around. How wrong were we, on arrival our room was upgraded to a see view and we were welcomed to the hotel with chocolates and a bottle of wine with a note saying Thank you for returning to Hotel Melia, not sure if this is how they treat all returning guests but as a gesture this meant a lot to us. Everything was exactly how I remembered it from when we were there in 2023, good food with lots of chose, ate in the Indian which seemed to be under used but the food was very good and you can even eat outside and mix it with food from the main buffet which is a great option if you just want to try a couple of bits from the Indian menu.The Cuban bar with some great cocktails and evening entertainment in the outside seating area was a great addition, can’t remember what this bar was being used for the last time we were there but definitely worth checking out. Also for those that like a beer or two like myself they have Becks on tap at the bar in block 3, big up to the entertainment team that really make the holiday with lots of daytime activities and the bar staff how all work extremely hard. There is an area of the beach that belongs to the hotel with free sun loungers and a hotel bar that also serves food, all part of the all inclusive package. Also paid far less for this anything of a equal standard in Spain, Greece or Portugal. Great hotel, great area, great country with really friendly people all at a great price. What more could you ask for.

  Absolutely Perfect — a Wonderful Week at Melia Sunny Beach hotel! Everything was outstanding. Accommodation of family room was huge, two big rooms each with a nice king size bed and two shower rooms, the room is clean, it cleaned daily. We loved the balcony with lovely views of the pools. Everything felt fresh and welcoming. Food & Dining was incredible — huge variety and something delicious for everyone! The staff in the restaurants and reception were always polite, friendly and work hard. The pools are fantastic. The beach area is beautiful and well-organised. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful, ideal for a proper holiday. We will go back sometime.

  End of season trip, definitely worth a visit

  Our last day here at Melia and we've had a great stay regardless of the weather.Good points:Overall great all inclusive, plenty of good options the route 66 food is definitely worth trying very good selection.Main food and drinks good ?? Hotel room (we had a pool view) great size, fridge ideal, great balcony.The Indian was worth a visit, buffet style which we preferred, really tasty.Great idea with the chip in the wristbands for entering the rooms and also the side entrance to the shops.Location perfect, literally shops, bars, restaurants, beach on the doorstep. Get the bus to nessebar old town less than 8 euro return for both. Or get a taxi average price 10 euro 1 way.Coffee machine/water dispenser on each floor which we make lots of use of.We've opted to keep the room on for late checkout 35 euro until 4pm or 45 after 4pm worth it if you've got a late flight. Overall great stay, unfortunately can't comment on the pool area as it wasn't warm enough but everywhere was well kept and clean.   ???? An absolutely wonderful stay – we will definitely return!

  We have had a fantastic stay at Meliá Sunny Beach and honestly could not have asked for more.We booked two rooms for two people through two different agencies because we had different packages. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel and politely asked if there was any possibility of having our two rooms located close together, as we were travelling as a family. The hotel responded very politely and professionally, which already gave us a great impression.When we arrived, the reception staff were absolutely lovely. We were so pleasantly surprised to be told that the hotel had upgraded our two rooms and allocated them in a beautiful area with a really lovely view. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and in a fantastic location. We truly appreciated this kind gesture from the management.All the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and they always tried their best to help whenever we needed anything.I would especially like to mention Michaela, the hotel manager. She was extremely professional, friendly and approachable, and we really appreciated the way she dealt with guests. She is a great credit to the hotel.The hotel itself is fantastic. There is so much space and so much to do. It is very close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the main Sunny Beach area. There are several pools and plenty of activities, so you really never feel bored.The animation team were excellent too. They were very friendly, energetic and welcoming, with lots of activities throughout the day. There is always something you can get involved in if you want to.The food was also excellent, with a very good choice. During our stay we mainly used the main restaurant and the Indian restaurant. We were told that some of the other restaurants close after 15 September, but this was absolutely fine because there was still plenty of food and plenty of choice available.Sadly, we are leaving today, and we are genuinely going to miss Meliá Sunny Beach. It has been such an enjoyable and memorable stay for us.We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great family holiday in Sunny Beach. We are already hoping to come back with the rest of our family and stay for another week.Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff and management for making our stay so special.Until we meet again, Meliá Sunny Beach! ??

  Fantastic family holiday

  Amazing family holiday, something for everyone !we had 3 rooms and the hotel ensured we were all in the same block with low floors (emailed ahead of arrival)Food was amazing with plenty of choice, favourite was the Indian.Plenty of Bar staff so queues were dealt with quickly, paper cups by the pool so take your own plastic ones or purchase from reception.Never had a problem getting sunbeds but it was early in the season.Private beach area with snackbar was a bonus, only a few minutes walk and very nice.Plenty of shops nearby, and the fair was great too !Hotel & rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff are always working hard to keep it this way.We will definitely return.
