  I had a fantastic time at this bar/restaurant , and a huge part of that was thanks to Mumun Ismail and Ali Ismail. They were incredibly kind, helpful, social, and cheerful throughout the entire holiday. Their positive energy and they gave us amazing recommendations that perfectly matched what we were looking for.   I recently came back from a week at this Hotel. I'll jump straight into the bad. If you are English, you will not like the food. Everything tastes wrong; it looks good, but tastes awful, even the pasta tastes weird. This was the number 1 issue we had, to the point that we had to eat out. This hotel is combined with the 4* Hotel Astoria, you share the pool and lobby entertainment etc but they have a different restaurant, you will always be looking in there wondering if it's better than yours, which it was. Then there is the rooms, very small, not big enough. The shower/wet room was an issue for me, the drains stink, to the point it made me feel sick just going in there. It constantly smells. There was some good bits, the lobby bar did nice coffee and the drink measures were insanely large. The cocktails were mostly awful, made with syrups that tasted like toothpaste; one or two were ok, but mostly bad. You could get a few nicer spirits if you asked and the beer was good. So drinks were ok, simply because the pool and lobby bars were part of Astoria 4* If i was to go to Bulgaria again i would have to look for a 5* just simply because the food there is so bad, even in the restaurants. The nights out are good, very lively. Oh and the days of it being cheap seem to be over, everything is in Euros, the night clubs are all 10 Euros to get in, the drinks on the main strip were 4-5 Euros a beer so not really a massive saving over anywhere else in the Med. Dont go here thinking its cheap as its not anymore since they joined the EU in Jan, a meal out is 15-20 Euros per person in the main areas.   Relaxing 12 night stay all inclusive

  Stayed at mpm orel hotel sunny beach for 12 nights all inclusive, location is excellent out the back gate and cross the road to the beach ,also very near flower Street but far enough away not to have noise ,the staff in the hotel are excellent,very hard working,can get a bus on the main road to nessebar which is lovely to visit only 1euro each way about 20 minutes away,or go to the bus station and get a bus to Burgas for 4.50 each way .there are lots of shops etc near to the hotel ,there was no shortage of sun loungers while I was there and also there are free sun loungers on the beach ,I was always able to get something from the food unless you are very fussy,only thing I found was a lot of it was only lukewarm,the room was fine justed like it looked on Web site,only drawback was the shower in the bathroom did not have a shower tray or curtain so all the bathroom floor got wet when you had a shower which was a bit messy and also a little dangerous because it could be slippery,but overall I really enjoyed my stay it was lovely and relaxing,there didn't seem to be any entertainment at night for adults but maybe that starts in June ,I think there was bingo a few nights,I would return again MPM Hotels, Marketing at MPM Hotel Orel - Ultra All Inclusive, responded to this review Dear Majella,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay at MPM Hotel Orel.We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our beachfront location, the convenient access to Sunny Beach, Nessebar, and Burgas, as well as the availability of sun loungers and the friendliness of our team.   Just returned from a 10 night stay at mpm hotel orel. Room was spacious and cleaned everyday very kind maid who smiled and waved everytime we saw her (10th floor). The lifts were a bit of a pain very slow . Food was alright as a picky eater I managed to find something to eat at lunch and dinner. Breakfast choice was not the best. Pool bar was best to get the alcoholic drinks from lots of choice to choose from. Pool area was quiet most days and easy to get a sun lounger got busier as day went on. Lots of sun loungers on the beach to use again no problem getting one. The strip was like a 2 minute walk down the street however did not hear any noise from this. Tried to get a late checkout however was fully booked so had a lot of waiting around to do as checkout was 12pm and our transfer wasnt until 10:55pm. Overall a very good start at Mpm Hotel Orel would recommend booking .
