Amazing 14-day stay – great food, friendly staff, and vibrant atmosphere!

    rating27 Sept 2025

I stayed here for 14 days in September 2025, and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is amazing – friendly staff who are always smiling and happy to help or have a chat if you want. Everyone working here really makes you feel welcome. The hotel was clean throughout our stay. The only small issue we experienced was that the shower got a bit clogged up due to sand coming in from the beach and sunbeds, but honestly, that’s the only negative thing we have to say after two full weeks here. The food at the hotel was excellent, with a great variety every day. We never got tired of the buffet! Both of us are sensitive to ultra-processed food and were a bit nervous about that, but we had no issues at all – the food was fresh and felt homemade.Don’t miss the pizza restaurant at the hotel – seriously, the best pizza we’ve had! We even tried pizza in Nessebar Old Town, but the one at the hotel was definitely better.WiFi in the room was a bit weak, but that just encouraged us to get out and enjoy more of what the hotel had to offer. There's always something happening here – music, games, and activities for both kids and adults. It’s a lively place with a great vibe. The location of the hotel is, in my opinion, perfect. It’s just far enough from the town center that you don’t hear all the noise from the nightlife if you want a quieter evening, but still only a 10–15 minute walk away if you feel like going out. It’s also close to the Old Town and right next to the tourist train stop. And best of all – it’s right by the beach! The beach is divided into sections: the one just below the hotel is a regular beach, but if you walk a few sections toward the Old Town, there’s a nudist area if that’s more your vibe.I was here with my mother, and we had a great time together. But I also saw families, couples, and even solo travelers enjoying themselves. No matter who you’re traveling with – or even if you're on your own – this hotel fits everyone. I noticed that solo guests were really well taken care of by the activity staff, and many quickly made new friends to hang out with. It's a genuinely warm and welcoming hotel with a lovely team of staff.Honestly, I feel like I got great value for my money. I don’t understand how this hotel doesn’t have a 4-star rating – it’s so beautiful and well-kept! Some evenings we wanted an early night and the music from the disco or crowd could be a bit loud, but we had a room right next to the stage. I’m sure if we had asked to switch rooms, it would’ve been no problem at all. With earplugs, we still slept really well. That said, we did notice a few guests getting overly drunk due to the open bar. Some ended up passing out on sunbeds and needed to be helped by the lifeguards – who, by the way, did an amazing job keeping an eye on everyone and making sure people were safe.In the restaurant, it was also a bit sad to see some guests hoarding food from the buffet and then not eating it, which led to waste and less availability for others. Some dishes seemed to run out and weren’t always refilled, while others were topped up regularly. All in all, we had an incredible time. We believe in enjoying your holiday to the fullest, but also respecting the hotel and the hardworking staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay – we’ll definitely be back!

    END OF SEASON DISAPPOINTING

    rating25 Sept 2025

First of all let me say, we booked our holiday in September not realising that the majority of bars and shops close at the end of August in Sunny Beach. At the end of our trip only two bars were open on the last night.Back to the holiday. We booked as a three star and that is exactly what we got. The food is your normal all inclusive, which was acceptable, not always hot but there is a microwave to warm things up. On a lunchtime there were hot dogs and sandwiches available by the poolside bar and also a pizzeria for you to go for lovely tasting pizzas. The swimming pool was like an ice bath and you could only just jump in and out without going numb. We used to dare each other to go in. The entertainment was none existent which was a shame as the drinks are the best thing about this hotel. Usually these hotels have rubbish spirits and cocktails. There were very nice except you could only have them in glasses if you stayed inside the bar, otherwise soft bendy plastic beakers. The rooms were very nice, nothing exceptional just nice with a brilliant shower, which was always hot and shampoo, handwash and moisturiser available. There is air conditioning but we didn’t need to use it. The rooms are cleaned everyday at a very early time (as soon as you left for breakfast).Outside the hotel is quite a few bars and restaurants, but if you would like to be in the middle of sunny beach it is a good 25 minutes walk or 30 LEV in a taxi. We went to a couple of bars in the centre and watched tribute acts and played bingo. The beach is one of the nicest beaches I have been to with soft powder like sand and lifeguards and beach bars a plenty. A few metres up from the hotel going towards Nessebar is a section allocated to the naturists .We visited Nessebar old tow once on a taxiboat for 20 LEV each and once by bus for 2 LEV, it’s a lovely quaint place to visit and have a meal. All in all, we wanted to go somewhere that we haven’t been over the last 20 years and we can now tick Bulgaria off our list but will not be returning but did have a nice holiday. It reminded us of Spain when Spain was new to us all.

Advise you to try somewhere else

    rating23 Sept 2025

So, I will start with the good as there was so little - pool bar was lovely and rooms were spacious. The hidden garden in building two was really pretty and comfortable. On arrival, dropped off at building one, where the queue was huge and everyone seemed to be having issues, the lady didnt speak any English, waited for our friends who arrived about 5 mins after we tried to check in and then we were carted off to building two - which has no corridors to building one. Eventually we get checked in, given a late night snack which was two small pieces of bread, knife wipe of butter, half a slice of cheese, an apple and a bottle of water - the water was very much appreciated! We weren't given any map or indications of food times etc, nothing about the hotel and nothing in the rooms either. The rooms are extremely outdated, but that didnt bother me much, the bed was manageable, bathroom worked but didnt drain well, the room is carpeted (bathroom is tiled) and they clearly dont hoover often (disgusting when we arrived and not done whilst we were there) so I couldn't walk in my bare feet, you will notice that they dont go round with hoovers often.Aircon did work, but it was noisy.Fridge worked but it froze things.Cleaner were nice enough, if you didnt want your room cleaned, you could just ask for clean towels or toilet roll (kept running out). The hotel is lovely and clean, but food choices aren't great and unless your there at opening time, dont expect hot food. However you cannot get to the restaurant or building one from building two, so dont envy anyone who will visit when raining. Pool snack bar was actually ok, offering sandwiches, hotdogs and ice-cream at certain times.Saw the entertainment team outside occasionally, but didnt meet any of them. The pool would be nicer if it got more sun, especially the pool bar, its first to go and the water is freezing in the shade. They dont offer towels and the sunbeds are the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat in, if your lucky to get a working bed and parasol, the drinks holders are disgusting as nothing is cleaned in this area. So the sunbeds are sitting in sand full of rocks, cigarette butter and rubbish.Saving the best for last, the hotel is unsecure which we didnt initially realise, so anyone can walk round the hotel, the pool area etc as its not fenced off and as the sunbeds are not entirely insight from inside the pool, I advise you to never leave your belongings unattended - we were robbed on day one because we left our items at our sunbeds. The staff response, was a snigger and "what do you want us to do about it" - care, would have been a nice start! No room safes and the hotel safe sign states that they dont take responsibility for anything going missing, so not optimistic there either.

The noisy hotel with rude stuff

    rating27 Jul 2025

We stayed at this hotel in mid-July. We chose this hotel for a family vacation with our relatives. So we lived in two rooms and had a vacation together. Our hotel rooms was not bad. The only thing was that the balcony door and the chair on the balcony were broken. The view from the windows was good, as we had booked with a sea view.Only one evening out of 7, the hotel had a show program, it was interesting. Other evenings something strange was happening on the stage. This hotel is not suitable for people who want silence, because from early morning until late at night there is very loud music, so it is almost impossible to sit on the terrace or swim in the pool. Very loud. We avoided these places all the time, although we love music. One person in our company has health problems and loud music can cause seizures. So we had to avoid the pool, we could only swim there from 12 pm to 12:20 when the music stopped. Only 20 minutes a day. It's terrible. The next time there was no music around midnight, but the pool was closed at night. This hotel has two pools, the third with a jacuzzi that was never turned on. The pools are cleaned every evening, which is also a good plus. The food in the restaurant is tasty, but monotonous. The drinks in the lobby bar are refreshing and the bartenders are friendly. At the same time, most of the hotel staff were rude and unfriendly. The cleaners only took out the rubbish from the rooms, no one changed our towels, bedding or vacuumed the carpets from sand. However, we didn't ask when we saw that the cleaners were throwing clean bedding and towels on the concrete floor before bringing them into the rooms. This is the ultimate in unsanitary conditions. There are also no foot towels in the rooms. The reception staff spoke Russian to us demonstratively. When we pointed out that we didn't speak Russian, they continued to do so, thinking that if I was Ukrainian, I should understand them by default. However, I don't speak Russian. My British partner felt awkward because he didn't understand what was going on at all.The manager of the main restaurant, when we came to order a complimentary dinner, was absolutely rude and didn't speak English at all. She just gestured angrily and called some Dani. Later, she called a colleague whose English was not the best and together they started to discuss us rudely in Bulgarian, thinking that we did not understand them. Unfortunately, I understood them, because their language is a bit similar to Ukrainian. When I pointed it out, they started arguing with me.By the way, later we regretted that dinner in a special restaurant. We arrived at the appointed time to an empty dark room where there was no one from the staff. A table was set in the corner. When we tried to find someone, the chef shouted at us. It was terrible and humiliating. The food was tasteless and strangely served. We ordered fish, which was baked whole in foil. When we unwrapped it, all the juices poured on us. Our appetite disappeared when we saw that fish with a head. The waitress spoke only Bulgarian, so communication was strange. She brought us three jugs of wine that we did not ask for. We are not alcohol lovers. It was difficult to explain that we needed water, finally she brought one warm half liter bottle. We were completely disappointed with this dinner. In our experience, only the lobby bar staff understood and spoke English. The hotel cleaners on the day of our departure already at 10 am put chairs under our door, sat down and complained that they could not clean the room. Although the check-out time is 12 pm.Despite all this, we decided to ignore all this and enjoy our vacation. However, we would not recommend this hotel. Although the hotel really looks nice and is very conveniently located, right by the sea.
