    Don’t recommend

    rating31 Aug 2025

Upon the arrival the man at the reception was rude, after we checked in we had a problem with the room, when I went to talk to him about it before even trying to hear our problem he told me it’s impossible to change rooms and after I tried to talk to him more he mocked me (yes, mocked me!). There was a foul smell in the bathroom, the cleaning was subpar, they only washed the floors once and we stayed a week. I thought the food was okay at first, and then me and another person from our group got food poisoning. The other staff except the one at the reception were okay, especially the servers and bartenders were polite. Overall would not recommend

    Friendly family hotel

    rating20 Aug 2025

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Avenue Deluxe, and after reading the reviews, I was worried. I had no reason to be! We arrived before 2pm (check in time), but our room was ready. We justbcoyldnt get pur bands til 3. Sibce wed been travelling since 4am we needed fiod so popped to the suppermarket just off the main street for snacks and to the takeaway next door. They do a cracking half chicken and chips very cheap. We had a family suite with a separate bedroom and sofa bed for the kids. Small balcony which altho overlooked the back of the hotel this meant it was quiet. The room was clean with house keeping visiting every day. There are so many bad reviews of the food but we found no issues whatsoever. Yes there were a few things we tried bit weren't keen on but there was plenty of other choice it made no difference. Breakfast was a mix of fresh salad/fruit, meats, cheeses, cooked meats and plenty of egg choice and the kids favourite.....pasties and cake with jam, honey, chocolate spread along with some cereals. Lunch 12-2 we had a few times if we weren't out and about again with fresh and cooked choices. Afternoon snack 3-5 I think was the kids favourite as featured chips, chicken nuggets/strips and potato croquettes along with icecream from the pool bar. Tea was served 6-9 and again various meats/fish and vegetarian options. The size of the nectarines was insane! Lots of sweet treats for afterwards. We've put loads of weight on 🤣. I was so suprised at the poor food reviews and unless you only eat specifically cooked food I'm confident there will always be something you can eat. It's a mixture of traditional (recommend you try) and 'safe' The pool was clean with new umbrellas, the only downside was quite a few of the loungers need replacing (reason for a slightly lower overall score) but we appreciate that there is always something that needs replacing and this is probably on the never ending list. The staff were friendly, the 2 lads working the bar did a cracking job and kept us hydrated, and the waiting staff, 2 girls, and a guy never stopped and ensured dishes were not left lying around. The bar is open 10-10, which we loved as it meant no late night noise. There is no evening entertainment, which we also loved, but you can get to the hub of sunny beach within 10 mins. We liked being away from the hub to be honest, and this hotel delivered for our holiday needs of spending time together as a family without breaking the bank, so thank you!

    Don't go there

    rating01 Aug 2025

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good moments and several disappointments. We were given a nice room upon arrival. A special mention goes to the person who cleared the tables — always polite, quick, and attentive. One staff member who truly stood out was Daniel, the shorter bartender. He worked both the pool bar and the bar near the dining area, switching shifts with the other bartender. It was easy to notice the difference depending on who was on duty. Whenever Daniel was working, the bar area — especially the pool bar — was lively and full of people. He naturally drew guests in with his positive energy, constant smile, and friendly conversations. In contrast, the taller bartender didn’t engage much with anyone. He seemed distant, often on his phone, and the atmosphere around the bar felt much quieter when he was there. The difference in guest interaction was very noticeable. The food at the hotel was another low point. For a 4-star hotel, the variety and taste didn’t live up to expectations. A lot of the dishes were bland or poorly cooked — especially the broccoli, which was either undercooked or overboiled. One night we decided to go out and eat at a local restaurant, and that turned out to be the best meal of the week. We had calamari and a few other dishes that were absolutely delicious. Ironically, calamari showed up on the hotel menu the next day, but they were far from enjoyable — badly prepared and lacking flavor. We also had one strange experience late at night. After coming back around 2 a.m., we found the entrance locked — the only way to access our rooms was through reception, and it was shut. The receptionist had apparently gone to sleep, and we had to call the security company to eventually get in. When he did show up, he simply asked why we hadn’t knocked — even though the door clearly said “Open 0:00-0:00.” It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was definitely odd for a hotel claiming round-the-clock reception service.Lastly, the town itself didn’t leave a great impression, especially at night. It felt dirty (piles of trash on the streets) and a bit uncomfortable to walk around, which added to the overall feeling that this trip just wasn’t what I had hoped for. While I appreciate the efforts of some of the staff, especially Daniel and the guy cleaning the tables, I don't see myself returning to this hotel or destination. We stayed for almost a week. Sheets were never changed nor the towels. Some of the sun beds were a bit broken. The bar works 10-22 and the hotel did not provide any kind of entertainment.

    Worst experience ever!

    rating14 Jul 2025

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Not one person speak English, food vile&cold, staff rude, no entertainment on at night at all, wasted nearly 3k for 10 nights & I regret it. Room never moped we had to rip bedding of for them to change it, and the clearer tutted at us for doing so, gave us from room on arrival. Avenue deluxe you should be ashamed how you treat the English tourist in your hotel, if your English definitely don’t go there, they give you horrible dirty looks & we got spoken about, we didn’t feel welcome at all.. out of the 10 days been here we didn’t get a sun lounger due to spiteful people what came out at 5/6 in a morning to our towels down. But went out for day and didn’t Evan use the loungers! Most of the sun lounger’s were broken but not moved. 1 member of staff was particularly rude to a member of my party about a cup near pool which wasn’t hers but never complained about anyone else about glasses and cups everyday he shoots dirty looks no matter how polite we’ve been we say good morning, evening still nothing all we get is don’t understand we’ve even used translator still same. Cleaners use the pool water to wash the loungers and there sweeping pans to bring water to wash the floors so the excess mucky water runs back In to the pool which is disgusting. Had to buy cups so could have a coffee of a morning because we can’t bring cups to our room but different rules for all other non English guest…..If you have kids I wouldn’t recommend coming here nothing for kids to do, no food for kids at all.. also had my boxer shorts pinched,Very strange hotel I wouldn’t bother going I give these a 0 star rating.Poolview what pool view….Never again!!
