Location

This beach hotel is situated on the resort's main road. It's convenient location means that it is only 300 metres from the beach and just a 5-minute walk from the resort centre. A number of discos, bars and pubs, and a big supermarket can be found in the near vicinity, and the nearest public transport links are just 20 metres away. The Aquapark is 1 km away, Burgas Airport is 35 km away and Varna Airport is some 120 km from the establishment.

Facility

The hotel has 19 suites, 6 apartments, 37 studios, 6 single rooms and 101 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden.     Outstanding Stay at Tia Maria, Sunny Beach

    I recently stayed at Hotel Tia Maria and I couldn’t be more impressed! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the beach, shops, and nightlife, but still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning and a balcony.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. From the reception to the restaurant, everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was fresh and varied, with plenty of options every day.What really stood out was the value for money. For the price, we got exceptional service, a great room, and a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend Tia Maria to anyone visiting Sunny Beach—whether you’re a couple, a group of friends, or a family.We’ll absolutely come back next summer!

    Not a 3-star hotel for sure, NO WIFI, crowded

    1 - There are too many children in the pool, jumping into the water and splashing others, even though diving is prohibited.2 - Towels are only exchanged every 3 days.3 - The Wi-Fi doesn't work.4 - Breakfast has crazy long lines, and there's no separate smoking area during this time?5 - Cleaning is incomplete, the floors are dusty, and the trash is overflowing.6 - Half of the sun loungers are broken – it's a complete lottery.7 - The air conditioning in the room doesn't work.

    I book for a week via an agency on 02/08/2024 and I arrived on 08/08/2024. At arrival the manager who is also the owner refuse to offers the room despite he got my reservation from 02/08/2024. He tried to racket me asking 40€/night instead the booking, pretending this is the price in Sunny Beach... and he sent me by email. He got the room, but the owner not wanted to give me at the price booked by the agency. Searching information I found from taxi drivers the owner not respect his contract with his clients and agencies. But agencies still selling his rooms?!? Last week one driver told me he sold a room destinated for a girl to sameone else. The numbers of complains here are the best example, 280 only in Trivago. The local Police cover him. I was a Policeman too and I know thinks. This morning the driver how drove me to airport was telling me similar issues with the owner of Tia Maria Hotel. Contact your embassy for help asking support as office of concurrence, the name of the owner who run company in the hotel. Next make a complain to Police, office of concurrence and post your bad experience in all holiday platforms. Next ask all of them explanations because they sell something unreal rooms.

    Shocking say the least. Underage prostitution, Underage drinking, customer service it's like speaking to the aliens when speaking to reception staff. Thank you for crap service. I will be back just so can leave gigantic poop on reception desk!

    the photos of the rooms they offer are definately photo shopped , The mould in the washrooms are 🤮 we tried to leave an wanted a refund an they only would give back 50 % of our reservation this was on the day of arrival as well because the rooms we were given/ shown we moved 3 different times none like the photos they use to advertise we no longer wanted to stay there after arriving but they refused the refund for the 3 day booking. The breakfast meals were the only decent food i saw the rest medioca not fresh an gave me an upset stomach so i stopped eating anything with dairy. The housekeeping staff were attentive an did a fair job considering the lack of equipment & chemicals they get given to do there job. The front desk staff we waited far too long to be served when 3 people were there assisting one customer at a time. I feel as though they all need retraining in that area considering we madenour reservation a month in advance this hotel isnt pet friendly at all we were placed on few different floors all an obstacle course to try take a dog out for potty breaks we should have been situated on fhe ground floor for easy access given they had time to organize our arrival but no we were given the cheapest rooms they had will not be back not worth the all inclusive.
