  Avoid like the plague

  Dropped off there at 3am last Saturday morning tired but happy to finally arrive I'm 61 and my wife is 58There was no Balkan rep on our transfer bus Walked into reception only to find no one there Rang the bell etc. NothingWaited 10 minutes....Another 10.....Rang an emergency number on our booking receipt about 16 times each...no answerRang our rep countless times...no answer Rang a number on the reception desk countless times no answer When someone finally answered the emergency number basically she said "well what do you want me to do about it?" We ended up lying down on the sunloungers but too worried to sleep as we had our cases bags passports money etcAt one point I walked over to the Glarus Hotel asking if we could book a room as we were by this time desperate for some sleep but no luckMy wife got really anxious and had a few panic attacksWe both got bit off various insects several timesEventually our Balkan rep got in touch with us at 7am and asked us if we had managed to get in touch with the manager of the YassenObviously he couldn't get in touch with him eitherHe finally sent us a taxi to take us to the Pamorie Sun Hotel at 8amAs we were that shattered we slept most of Saturday which was a day of our 6 night holiday wastedA week later we are back home and still haven't heard anything from The Yassen

  our apartment was even bigger than thought,very clean ,staff were very helpful and friendly,could not say a bad word about it, great location short walk from beach, had a fab holiday,would go back anytime.very well kept pool cleaned every morning and all apartments had a balcony ,bar and shop really cheap,had a two bedroom for four people ,perfectly fine one with onsuite ,big corner sofa which turned into sofa bed which we did not need.our apartment was on the second floor which overlooked the pool and was perfectly fine ,also had a balcony at the back .and also had free wifi poolside ,but which we could get from our balcony.

  first holiday with kids

  apartment was ok very basic nice pool view from balcony, balcony had too much clutter with other furniture. but was concerned about the bathroom it had a dangerous tiled small step and you could fall and break your neck, if you weren't careful, had to put a towel over it incase one of the kids tripped. we were on the third floor and had a balcony there were no child proof locks on the two balcony doors, as i had a 7 year old and a 5 year old with autism, had to block up the living room door with a chair just incase he opened it. internet very slow even with internet card bought from reception. customer service wasn't bad. beds were comfortable 2 kids had to sleep on a sofa bed in the living room which wasn't adequate.lady who came to clean was very very nice to us and had the place spotless no dust anywhere pool was clean. the location is very good near everything close to the beach 2 mins from beach supermart on the ground floor. maintenance of the kids play ground not good.kitchen utensils didn't really use we ate out a lot had a microwave and toaster was fine washing machine work perfectly the lift gave me the creeps i'm being total honest here with my review. despite all that i would stay here again only id get a 2 bedroom apartment with bit more space.

  Our apartment looked even better than in the pictures provided online. Very big pool. Quite Holiday Apartments. The lift didn't work which was a pity as we were on the top floor. There is only WiFi in the pool area. We requested to get the paid WiFi in our apartment but we were refused each time for some reason.Location was excellent.

  Rescued my mum

  Stay here when my mum had an accident and I had to fly out to her.The location is great as is the pool area apart from the uneven paving around it ,the rooms are a good size but ours looked as if it had been cleaned and then left for a very long while it was not dirty just very dusty with dead insects in the windows,on the last night ,as we were leaving we found some kind of beetles living in the bed which accounts for the bites we received during our stay.The blonde lady on reception was very helpful and seemed to know what she was doing and always tried to help if she couldn’t help on the spot she always went off and got back to you.The young guy on reception was another story had no idea about anything to do with the hotel or it’s guest and was pretty much useless it took him all his time to lift his head from his phone.Word of warning the staff here have some kind of scam going on here with taxis and any medical issues or accidents so be careful always ask the price as we saw one taxi driving handing the reception money after changing far more for the fair.And my mum was taken to a hospital that did not take insurance even after she had told the reception staff that she it ANOTHER SCAM .
