Location

Located on a hilltop in the northern district of Zora in Sunny Beach, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is just 350 m from the beach. The area is famous for its mild climate. The town centre, with its numerous leisure and transport options, is just a 5-minute drive away. Burgas Airport is some 35 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 20 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library.     My wife and I stayed here during the period of 30th July Monday until Mon 6th AugVery Basic accommodation as expected, we wanted cheap and clean and it was bothThe room itself was badly designed, would never get past H&S in the UK, when sitting on the toilet one foot was in the shower enclosure the other foot was in the bathroom itself, tip – do not book room 202 (Can you see my toes in the picture)The room was cleaned daily, however our sheets and main towel were not changed during this period, the smaller hand towels were changed daily.The breakfast menu is very limited, not a great deal to choose from, shame this would be an easy win if you invested in this areaThe pool area is small but adequate, I never saw the pool being cleaned in this time, however we were out a lot.The air conditioning remote was not easy to adjust, the TV was as old style CRT and we couldn’t getIt too work.Would I stay here again? Yes, if I get a different room with a normal shower and bathroom and only if I can’t get anything else at a cheaper price.

    We stayed at Hotel Zora in June 18 and we had a really wonderful week. The hotel is spotlessly clean and is lovely and quiet. Tanya and Elka are really lovely and will do anything to help. The breakfast is good and the lamb chops I had one evening were delicious. There is a very steep hill to the hotel and the transfer coach can't traverse it so book a private car transfer rather than the coach, also the hotel lifts stop mid floor so there are still steps to climb; I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues but the hill means the hotel just looks out on to forest, hills and with the sea to the right, the perfect place to stay for quietness but with the fun and noise of sunny beach just ten mins away. I can't wait for my next visit there. Wonderful place.

    What was that ! Big mistake

    Ok , so booked this hotel on the strength of the previous reviews .Other than the walk up the hill and quite location , don't know were the positives came from .We upgraded to half board , which in the case of this Hostel and I do mean hostel means 2 choices for your eve meal .Take it , or leave It .Daily fixed menue, from the snack bar .Hostel calls it the restaurant. Want a drink with your slop , that's extra , even water .Tea charged at £1 per cup , by the way don't imagine you can make a cup In your room .God forbid If you ask for a kettle , that's an outragous request .Was waiting for Basil faulty to jump out of the wardrobe , screaming for manwell .The one member of staff , whom wears the same top all week , Is unhelpful, rude, and clearly favours , non Uk visitors. Not worth the 2 star rating, although we booked It as 3 star .I would urge you ,not to book your holiday at this place , and to think twice about bulgaria full stop

    Stayed for 9 nights and felt very much at home. Rooms clean and far more spacious than conventional hotels. Staff extremely friendly, considerate and helpful. Meals varied, freshly prepared, tasty and good value for money. Peaceful and relaxing location away from the noise of busy main road but less than 10 mins walk to beach. Transport and shopping within short walking distance. Would go again and recommend this hotel for families or single persons.
