    Our G Adventures group had us booked here for the final night of our tour. We were one of many other groups. The place is clean and comfortable. Within walking distance is Restaurant Hadjidraganovite Kashti which with give you an authentic Bulgarian dining experience and is not to be missed!

    This hotel was located close to main attractions on a busy street.The rooms were very dark with dark wood and dark carpetsand the room was small.There was a fridge, a safe, hair dryer and kettle.The toiletries were very poor quality. The breakfast was OK, with a reasonable selection of hot and cold foods.

    Some nice things about the hotel:+ Right beside a tram line (close to others)+ Decent breakfast (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.)+ Quiet+ Clean+ Easy walk from bus stationSome negatives:- Sketchy WiFi - Had no towels in the room and it took forever to get themI thought the pillows sucked; they were the hard and not very think type. If my biggest complaints are sketchy Wi-Fi and hard pillows, well it's not really a bad hotel at all.

    The location is admittedly bit off the beaten track (about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, but quicker if you incorporate the metro into your journey), and it’s not in the most glamorous neighbourhood, which feels quite authentic and never unsafe. However, as a balanced compromise, guests will benefit from competitive rates and enjoy convenient access to the main railway station. Featuring beds and thin pillows that aren’t the most receptive, the rooms here are clean and large, but sparsely furnished in a manner that’s fair for what one is paying. This establishment delivers on most of the basics: cleanliness, adequate room temperature control, good toilet pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, just enough electrical outlets to charge your piles of modern junk, workable wi-fi, decent lighting options in the room, adequate array of towels, fairly competent housekeeping, and a helpful front desk staff. One can do a lot worse than here in Sofia.
