    Awful unfriendly receptionist that needs to be fired. Very little shelf space for placing belonging. No bench or table or shelf to place suitcase. Very well located in town.

    Unpleasant robotic receptionist with a blunt attitude bordering on rudeness, room was tiny they could not have made it any smaller, shower and a toilet felt like staying in caravan not a hotel, does not represent value for money at all, regretted booking and staying here

    The room is very small however if you aren’t spending anytime in the room it’s not an issue. Shower, toilet, sink, hangers, plug sockets, a tv, bed - that’s all you need.Like many other reviews, the bed really creaks on any slight movement, strange that it must be the same in every room! The walls do seem relatively thin, I could hear the couple next door talking but it was bearable. Only 4 rooms on each floor. The aircon didn’t seem to work however the large window opened fully so I utilised this.The location is walkable (around 20 minutes) to the centre of Sofia. There is a tram nearby and also an underground station. I found Sofia very easy and cheap to navigate via transport and taxis. There is a mall nearby with shops and fast food chains. Plenty of food options locally. I noticed a few reviews saying the area isn’t safe - ignore that, it is. There are some not so pleasant areas near the centre of Sofia (all to the North of the city near Lions Bridge) but this is not one of them. Staff didn’t even lift their head to greet you.     Not safe for women.

    NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN! The manager came in my room while I was half naked without knocking and yelled at me the hole time because I spoiled accidentally beer over the balcony they never told me I could not use. When I went down to apologize he said I should pack my things and leave at the moment and threatened to call the police. He was NOT PROFESSIONAL at ANY TIME and he as questioning why I was drinking beer in the first place, lol. Just because I’m a Brazilian-German young woman he has no right to talk to me ( a PAYING GUEST) like this. At the end he LOCKED ME OUT of my room for abt 2 hours until the cops arrived!!!! The manager, a woman, acted out of concern when she found you on the roof, disregarding safety warnings. Police were called due to the situation's severity.     Disgusting hotel, no hygiene standards at all! Also the walls were paper thin, it almost feels like you’re sharing a room with strangers. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, they’re rock solid, I’m sure the floor would be more comfortable, the mattress is also on a plank of wood that creeks really loudly every time you move, which woke me up through the nights! NEVER EVER AGAIN…
