Ewelina on reception was super helpful with translating and information. We slept in, and she, and the breakfast staff made sure we didn't go hungry! Was upgraded to a roof top suite which was lovely and had a fantastic view. Pool and restaurant were great!

After booking hotel I read reviews and was worried it would be a real dump I was pleasently surprised , the hotel was clean and only a hint of fragrance, the bathroom was clean and had everything you need , the bedroom was clean , fridge, coffee tea , water , tv , the bed was a bit hollow in the middle but I managed to sleep , air conditioning worked , breakfast was fine , selection of pastries , bacon , sausages , fried scrambled boiled eggs , hams and cheeses , sliced bread was hard been sitting a while , went to the skybar for drinks , nice atmosphere with music , no draught beer but a selection of bottles , underground parking is tight and limited spaces , receptionists were nice , helpful as were the staff in breakfast room and bar , there are a few things needed upgrading in rooms but for the price we could not complain

A lovely hotel for a reasonable price

After having read some of the unfavourable reviews I was pleasantly surprised to find a very fine hotel, appealing architecture, cosy and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds allow for a good night's sleep, airconditioning functioning fine. Complimentary tea, coffee and water waiting in the room. There is a subtle personal touch when it comes to cleaning; the welcome card states the name of your room maid. Cleanliness at a very good level. The restaurant serves good food, at breakfast the buffet caters for all tastes and there is generally enough food. The staff is very kind and efficient. I intend to stay at this hotel on my next visit to Sofia.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Sofia. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was professional and attentive. The free breakfast and parking were a great advantage and added real value to the experience. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

HORROR GESTANK ! We were the only guests in this hotel, and from the moment we arrived, there was a strong, sharp, slightly sweet odor throughout the entire place. It was extremely unpleasant. We left the room, aired it out for hours with the balcony doors wide open, but when we returned, the smell was still overwhelming.Unfortunately, we only read the reviews afterward and found that for over 14 years, guests have been reporting this exact issue.After a short time in the room, both of us developed runny noses, coughing, breathing problems, severe headaches that kept worsening, and nausea. We simply couldn’t tolerate it. On top of that, when removing the bed covers, every single mattress had visible urine stains.We ended up leaving the hotel at 1:30 AM because it was impossible to sleep there. The receptionist offered us another room, but we insisted on seeing it first—and it had the same unbearable smell. The entire hotel smelled. We didn’t even stay one night and had to book another hotel immediately, which caused us additional costs.The receptionist said there was nothing else he could do and could not guarantee a refund. We were told the manager would be available the next day, so I left my phone number and asked to be contacted—but I never received a call. We were later given the manager’s number and tried to reach him over 20 times and even sent messages via WhatsApp, but he never responded. We were completely ignored.This place is a disaster. We would not recommend it to anyone. The only positive was that the reception staff were friendly
