    Beautiful hotel in Sofia

    rating27 Oct 2025

I have stayed from the 12th to 15thof October with my young son for Universities purposes. The hotel is nice, simple, clean, comfortable and cozy, not far away from the city center ( 25 minutes on foot and 5/10 minutes by bus), staff is smiley and kind, a special mention to Mrs Ana at the reception who helped us in many ways making us feel at ease and welcome. Blogodoria Ana :)We also had a delicious breakfast waiting for us every morning and we were allowed to do the check out at 14 in the afternoon rather than at 10 o clock in the morning, which thing was extremely appreciated.I recommend it. Terrible and disgusting

    rating04 Oct 2025

The worst hotel we have ever been. Very small outdated room. Terribly old uncomfortable beds, all was disgustingly dirty and smelly in the room🤢, only the bathroom was acceptable. The breakfast was terrible, everything was tasting old and bad quality🤮. Never again. Absolutely unacceptable

    Won’t be back

    rating16 Sept 2025

5 nights in this hotel sums up what I found in my first (and last) to Bulgaria. The place is tired and dated but just about functions. The ambience is sad and the staff (except the day shift lady at reception and the house maid) just don’t speak and are depressed. Ask for the absent (after day 1) bacon in the restaurant and the woman there just grumps and pull faces. The rest of breaki just cold - and old. The worst - the largest area of the dining area has ashtrays - so as is compulsory in Bulgaria - breathe in and get lung cancer. Complain about that - and you’ll be told ‘it’s outside’. No it’s not. Adjoining room balconies too are smoking dens.Kill yourselves Bulgarians - but not the visitors. You need them.

The manager and the staff don't care at all about their clients

    rating11 Jul 2025

I wrote the below complaint and sent it directly to the hotel's manager. It's been almost a month and she didn't even bother to respond:I stayed at your hotel for 11 nights and although I was expecting to be treated with respect since I stayed longer, I had a very bad experience with the hotel staff. The brunette lady from reception had an unacceptable behavior (she was on the night shift between 19-20th of June and 24-25th of June). My mother has a bad cough due to her heart condition and although she came to breakfast every morning, she stayed for a few minutes and took the rest of the food in her room so she didn't disturb others with her cough. No one said anything until this lady from reception, on the 20th of June she start yelling at my mom like she was a thief, that she's not allowed to take food in her room. She said that she took food in her room every day and it was unacceptable. First of all, she could have said something from day one, if it wasn't ok and not wait for a week. Second of all, she could have told her in a civilized manner and not yell all the way from reception like she stole something. My mom doesn't even understand English and the receptionist was offended that my mom didn't reply to her. After I explained the situation, she gave me this speech that it's not ok to take food in the room, lecturing me like I was a kid in school who did something wrong. Next to her, there was a blonde, elderly lady from the day shift. These two ladies are always gossiping during their shift change and she had to be there as well so she could see how her colleague humiliates me.There were so many people who took food in their rooms and yet no one noticed them. Not to mention those who filled their plates like it was the end of the world. I'm guessing it was ok for them because they were Bulgarians and the staff is bias. The man from the restaurant is also acting like he's from Security. Looking at everyone and how much they eat. If you leave your plate unattended for a few seconds, he immediately takes it.I wanted to leave after this incident but the lady from the day shift on the 21st of June, a blonde lady, was so nice to me and even gave me a discount for staying for so long. I decided to extend my stay. On the 24th of June, I wanted to extend my stay for another day and this elderly lady, the lady who was in that morning when her colleague made a scandal, told me: tomorrow the hotel is full! She said it like she couldn't wait to get rid of me and then throws the key card with disgust and says: here you go! Her colleague, the brunette, was hiding next to her, she didn't even bother saying hello to me.On the 25th of June, I met the nice lady again. Apparently there was another room available but her colleague didn't bother checking. On the contrary! This nice lady also gave me a recommendation for another hotel of yours. This is the way you should treat your customers and not being humiliated by those two ladies who should be fired! There was a party during one night and it lasted until midnight, the internet was horrible and I had to use my mobile data (which is costing me 65 euros), the tap water was not drinkable (how is that even possible in a 3 star hotel?), the cleaning lady was invisible and I had to look for her to ask for new towels and other things.I could have made a complaint regarding these and even ask for my internet bill to be reimbursed and yet, I haven't said anything but the behavior of those 2 receptionists is unacceptable and if no disciplinary action is taken, I will make a complaint to the Consumer's Protection and I will complain about every issue I had during my stay! This is my first experience in a hotel in a Sofia and it's been the worst. I've stayed in so many hotels everywhere and I was respected. This has caused a lot of health issues for my mom who has heart failure!

    'Meh hotel' , Terrible experience

    rating11 Nov 2023

The rooms were...okay. Breakfast was nice. The wifi was weak in my room. The problem was the noise. Some construction workers were being extremely loud since 8 in the morning, making it impossible to remain in the room during the day. They refused to give me a new room. Would never go back there again.
