    We stayed at the InterContinental Sofia during our recent trip and experienced an excellent stay.The hotel’s restaurant serves refined dishes with attentive service in a stylish atmosphere. The bar Floret is offering a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and spirits after a day of sightseeing.The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection and also typical Bulgarian dishes. There is also a alacarte option available. Combined with the central location, modern rooms, and professional staff, the InterContinental Sofia delivers a consistently high-standard stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.     Great hotel in a convenient location with a friendly and helpful staff and quiet, comfortable room. Was given an upgrade to a suite without asking which is greatly appreciated.     Lovely Hotel Perfectly Situated

    I enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay here on my first visit to Sofia. It is perfectly located between the Old City and St Sophia Basilica (which was a necropolis millennia ago). The hotel has great attention to detail in the rooms, breakfast area, etc. The AC worked well once I called for a fix. I appreciate the big pump bottles for lotions, shampoo, conditioner etc. My bathroom felt a bit cramped, but the great lighting more than made up for that. I appreciated the wine opener on hand and simply would have preferred an empty mini fridge for my own items. Do pick up a paper map from the front desk and seek out some of the noted hidden gems like Couvage and then Cosmos. The ease of subway access to airport is awesome.     Terrible experience in Sofia

    On arrival it looks impressive, we came here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Why does the website ask what is the purpose of your visit and then does nothing. Front of house staff promised they would make it special for us ,that we could have a late check out at 2pm ,being a card holder that's standard. What do I pay $250 a year for? After asking for a late check out we was told 2pm was not possible. I think it's because we are not here on business the hotel doesn't care!!!     Good location and quality hotel

    I stayed for a few nights whilst travelling for work in May. The hotel has a good location near to some of the main sites. I had a room with a huge balcony overlooking the mountains, which was stunning. The room was modern and the bathroom very spacious though a little dark. The hotel was clean and well presented and the bed was comfy. The breakfast area was very quiet but had an adequate selection of foods. There is no pool which isn’t a deal breaker for me but could be for some.
