Location

This city hotel is situated at the southeast entrance to Sofia, on the main boulevard leading to the city centre. The hotel lies close to Sofia's business district and to the international exhibition centre. Its immediate vicinity is home to links to the public transport network, providing easy access to the centre of town, which lies some 10 km away (a 15-minute journey).     Bad hotel

    We have stayed at this hotel many times but this time is was not good then reception staff was very unfriendly the rooms was dirty and smelt of smoke outside the window ledge was full of cigarettes and it's a non smoking hotel the toilet needs a good clean ,the pool was shut even though it was open the same time last year, when we checked out the staff did not smile or say anything just took the key card

    Quite basic hotel. I took this for a few nights because of the pool. After spending time at the town it is nice to jump in the pool to cool down. Unfortunaltely the pool closed relatively early so night swimming was not possible.You can see the hotel is old, breakfast was not the best ones (i.e. the eggs even looked bad), and it is quite a long way from the center. On the other hand, not very pricy, pool was nice and in all easy place to stay.

    In the middle of nowhere,very dated. I walked in to be greeted by a member of staff who could not give a monkey. I decided to go elsewhere. The pool was closed.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to go back into Sofia which was a good move even though it was rough I was not stuck there

    Absolutely hated my stay here. I know it’s only a 3 star but that doesn’t mean certain standards shouldn’t be adhered to! I booked a superior room but it was filthy. The mini fridge was gungy and the drain hole clogged with black gunk. The curtains had bugs hiding in them and the wallpaper peeling and dated. The carpet was that bad I wore my shoes to walk round the room and the shower, taps and basin were in dire need of a good bleach and scrub. Soap scum and hairs, no plug, the shower head grimy, There was also a terrible stench if sewage in the room I presumed was coming from a drain in the bathroom. I didn’t use the shower, it was too dirty. The hotel is in dire need of a good clean and update. The pool itself looked nice but the outer areas I was looking forward to enjoying again were dirty with broken furniture . It basically looked like a 1970s hostel. There were silverfish in the room . And other bugs which were horrible ! Windows that didn’t shut or were cracked. Only one lift worked. Pretty bad show. That said, the staff were nice enough. Not their fault the management is so bad. Domestic staff nice enough too but they obviously don’t clean the taps and shower head etc. The area is not great as there is nothing there apart from a Lidl a ten minute walk away. The road is constantly noisy too. If you want to go anywhere you will need a taxi. Shame as if it was given a good overhaul it could be so much better. I have to return in a few weeks but will certainly avoid this place. The photos on the web are obviously from a long time ago.

    Great for cheap break away

    For a cheap break this hotel was great the bed was massive rooms good nadya at reception was great. Pool really big. Only bad point for me was breakfast continental and not a lot on offer. But did not really think much to sofia and language barrier is very hard even in the shops. Buses are excellent and Google maps tell you everything
