A Perfectly Situated Hotel with Exceptional Service

I enjoyed an exceptionally pleasant two-night stay at Rosslyn Central Park Hotel in Sofia while visiting the city on business. The hotel is superbly situated in the heart of Sofia, with excellent access to public transport, restaurants, shops and the city’s principal attractions.The atmosphere was elegant, calm and welcoming. My room was spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities required for a comfortable and productive stay. It provided an ideal base for my business commitments.The hotel represents excellent value, particularly in view of its central location, high standards and overall comfort. Despite its position in the centre of the city, the room was reassuringly quiet, allowing for a restful night’s sleep.The service was exemplary throughout. The lady who welcomed me at check-in was exceptionally warm, courteous and helpful, while the gentleman assisting me at check-out was equally professional and accommodating. Their genuinely pleasant manner made a very positive impression.Overall, Rosslyn Central Park Hotel proved to be an excellent choice for a business visit to Sofia. I would have no hesitation in recommending it and would be delighted to stay there again.

Come-as-you-are hospitality, done right

Arrived after a difficult travel stretch, and the hotel did the one thing that mattered: let me be a guest without treating my condition as a liability. No extra deposits, no access-card games, no suspicion — just a room and quiet competence.The room itself doesn't perform for you. Clean lines, no shouting decor — it becomes background quickly, and what stays with you afterward is simply how you felt, not the furniture. Breakfast was the same story: real thought behind it, spicy sauces that turn plain ingredients into an actual meal, healthy fried dough on offer alongside the usual — this is a come-as-you-are kitchen, not a purist one — a proper range of oatmeal and juice, watermelon that still tastes like watermelon, no seed-picking shortcuts that flatten the fruit into sugar water.Worth naming directly: I've stayed in same-class hotels that take extra deposits against a fully prepaid American business account, as if professional staff arriving for work might steal the bedsheets. Central Park does the opposite — respects the paying guest, whether you booked months ahead or walked in off the street that same day. That difference is worth more than any amenity list.I honestly score this hotel 20 on the 1 to 5 scale.

Great hotel - be aware of your room location

The hotel itself was great. Nice room with a spacious bed and plenty of space. The breakfast had a variety of sweet and savory choices and friendly, helpful staff. However, if you want to go to sleep before 1:00 in the morning, be sure to get a room on the back side of the hotel, and not one facing the cultural palace. The loud music and heavy bass coming from the restaurants outside the venue was a little much if you are a light sleeper. Same goes for rooms above the bar.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Rosslyn Central Park. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel was well located near a pedestrian street.Our rate included breakfast, and it included a fair number of options. The WiFi was strong, and though I didn’t use it, I appreciate the Smart TV that offered access to streaming services. A/C didn’t appear to be working yet, but we could cool our room by opening the window. Sofia is a nice city to visit, and the Rosslyn Central Park is a good option there.

Panoramic Suite

We spent a night in the panoramic suite and our stay was fantastic from start to finish. Check in was easy and the reception staff were extremely friendly. Despite arriving early we were able to check into our room which was appreciated after a long morning of travel. The room itself- 805, was huge and the views were fantastic. The bed and lounge sofa were both comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of thoughtful amenities including toothbrushes and shaving kits. When it came to check out the staff were more than happy to hold our bags until our evening flight. The only point to note was that rooms were quite warm, even in March. With windows open in the evening it was cool enough to sleep but this may be an issue in the summer. Rooms have heating and fans but the fans don't appear to be air conditioning or have a cooling element.
