Location

The hotel is situated in the heart of Varna in a very quiet area, near important financial and public institutions. Both pedestrian and shopping areas are in very close proximity to the hotel and lead to the gorgeous Sea Garden - one of the symbols of Varna – from which guests can reach the beach. Cultural monuments and museums are close to the establishment as well. The Cathedral of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, the Opera House and the Festival Complex are impressive buildings worth seeing that surround the hotel. Varna Airport is approximately 7 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1896. The hotel has 12 rooms, including apartments, studios, 5 single rooms and 5 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     I normally stay at the same few hotels when travelling to Varna but tried somewhere different this time due to availability. I regret it enourmously.This hotel was terrible. The staff were miserable and rude. The breakfast was not great. The aircon in the room was so loud, it was impossible to sleep with it on. This meant sleeping in the heat. The room itself had tiny windows which made the room feel like a prison cell. It was gloomy and with all the brown colours just an unpleasent place to be. It didn't even have a kettle to make hot drinks - I had to go and ask for one. The room was clean so I have given two stars instead of 1 but I absolutely would not stay here again.

    Hotel is directly on the Main Street, with lots of little side streets to wander around nearby. Only 15 mins walk from the seafront too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was immaculately clean and room was spacious and well equipped. We didn’t have breakfast included in our deal, but got it cheaply there, for less than £10 for two of us. The sports bar in the hotel had really friendly staff and super cheap food and drinks. We also used the small casino downstairs - it was machine only, but the hotel offers a free 10 leva bonus when spending 10, so a cheap evening out! Would recommend local restaurant, the Sundog and the Orient for lovely food. Only real tip to share is not to bother booking transfers from the airport to the hotel - we did and really overpaid! A taxi is only 10-15 leva (less than £10) and we paid double this as the hotel details stated it was an hour from the airport - in reality it was only about 15-20 mins. We travelled in the Easter holidays and many of the seafront attractions were not open, but still a pleasant place to visit and would be much luckier in the summer months!

    Stopped a week in early october, hotel was clean and quiet.Large comfly bed and lovely ensuiteIn great location in centre of varna, good breakfast & friendly staff.Would reconmend, and will definately use again

    Although efbet hotel is very center, a little hard to find if going by taxi as the hotel is in a pedestrian walkway and taxis can't get to it. The hotel is very clean but the rooms are very small. The staff was welcoming and very informative.

    Situated in the most central square of the city in the hart of a pedestrian only district. Very clean rooms. Very friendly and welcoming personnel. Good prices especially for a breakfast: full English breakfast with four stripes of beacon, two chicken sausages, fried mushrooms and tomato, together with two fried eggs and some backed beans, plus fresh juice, bottle of water, cup of coffee or tea and some seasonal fruits. They’ll charge you for all above listed just 10 levs, which is roughly equivalent of 5 euros. But… People coming from the street every night to the hotel’s bar to drink a beer, watch some sport and play backgammon are not so friendly as well looking, as behaving. So you easily could be cursed, sweared and the perspective is on your choice: are you ready to fight and have a police protocol at the end, or not. The choice is yours. So… If you like to watch sports late at night do it alone in your room. Bolted.
