Location

The hotel is located in first row of the resort of Golden Sands, only 60 metres from the sandy beach and 100 metres from the resort centre. The closest bus station is about 500 metres away. The hotel is approximately 20 km from the next big city of Varna and 30 km from Varna Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 100 non-smoking rooms located in a 6-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. This resort has a lift and a 24-hour reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. Among the advantages of an all-inclusive stay are a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as special offers like snacks.     For the price I got it from TUI.cz : one week all inclusive for about 400 € very reasonable. Near by the strip , for older people it can be a bit loud, beach is about 200 meter , in hotel and also opposite is market, so if you miss anything in buffet or bar you can easily buy. I really enjoyed . Older reviews wrote about drunk youngsters - prohibit by high penalties!

    Dirty and bad smell room. Mushrooms on the Wall. Many People was ill after this food and water. Try to find better hotel or rather better country. Very noisy all around, sand side and back side. Dont let this hotel to break yor vacations. Be samrt.

    Just to enjoy the last sun of this year I decided to book the Gladiola Star hotel in all in formula. And I didn't regret at all.Let me first write that Gladiola Hotel and gladiola star hotel are in the same huge complex, gladiola star in the middle and gladiola at left and right of the gladiola star hotel. There is one swimming pool for the whole complex, so I guess when it's full house it's a bit too small...but when I stayed here there were only 20 guests. And the beach is just a few meters away. All clubs and bars are within 100 meters, but were all closed so no loud nights at all.Rooms at gladiola star were nice and cleaned daily. All inclusive was great. Certainly to know that there were only 20 guests there were daily buffets. Variety was ok and good taste. In my opinion staff was always helpful and friendly. The last 3 nights only 3 rooms were occupied and the management decided to switch of the aircon system. This was a pity but understandable. Nights cooled down so it was not too bad.Over all... nice price quality.

    The worst hotel ever! Everything is old and dirty, the tv almost doesn’t work, it was an adventure riding the elevators which got stuck everyday with people in them, the food was average..not bad but not good either. The staff was annoyed by anything and everything and couldn’t care less about the customer demands, it was very noisy and don’t expect a sea view below the 6th floor. It’s close to the beach and the shopping area and that’s about it.Not related to the hotel review..the people are very rude in general (at the beach, at the stores..) and not at all welcoming and nice.

    The hotel itself is lovely, very very large but only caters for the germans Romanian and polish, no english food at all, breakfast was very poor unless you like hotdogs for breakfast and spaghetti bolognese!!! I went A/I with my mother, wish we hadn't of bothered as we ate out nearly every day and night.. if we ate in the hotel we only had the fruit and they did have nice cakes but that's about it, the pool area is at the front of the hotel which is very small and crowded with young aged people, this hotel is not for you if you want peace and quiet!! We had to move rooms on the 2nd night due to afew groups of lads playing loud music until 3am and not following the hotels policies, we complained and they sorted us out right away which was very good of them. I would not go back due to this reason and the food also.
