We arrived not knowing what to expect due to the reviews on trip advisor, however, it really isn't as bad as some make out.The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Majority of the staff were friendly but there was a language barrier at times with some of them. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels if you wanted them. It is true, the beer is only 3% and they do serve it in plastic cups but you can ask for glass if you are sitting inside. I personally didn't think the spirits were watered down either but they don't serve diet drinks & for someone who needs to monitor their sugar intake this was a problem. I had to purchase diet drinks from the shop.Now on to the food. In my opinion this is what let's the hotel down. There is a big range of salad items but the choice of main meals was limited and not particularly hot but I always found something to eat even if it was pasta every night.Take a 10 minute walk down to the beach and there is a promenade walk with bars, restaurants and shops which is the heart of the resort.If we were to come back to Golden Sands we wouldn't stay at this hotel due to the lack of diet drinks & proximity to the beach but that didn't stop us having a good time this time.

I came on 7 th September and I paid for two massages: one full-body massage and one head and shoulder massage. Unfortunately, the full-body massage was a terrible experience.The man who performed the massage used gloves throughout the entire treatment, which I found very unusual and uncomfortable for a massage. The massage itself was also very poorly done, and honestly, I had the impression that he was not properly trained or experienced as a massage therapist.To make matters worse, they had actually forgotten about the second massage that I had already paid for. I eventually went to another therapist, a lovely lady who did the head and shoulder massage, and she was absolutely brilliant. She was professional, attentive and made the second experience much more enjoyable.It’s a shame because the hotel itself is lovely, but I really think the massage service needs to be improved, particularly when it comes to staff training and professionalism. The second therapist, however, deserves praise for doing an excellent job.

Hotel is ok.Food and drink service is verden bad.Only one person in the only OpenBSD bar in the evening.Waiting time for a slice of pizza in the snackbar is up to 50 minutter.Waiting time for meat at the evening buffet is up to 20 min.Its like you have to pay much as possible and get lens as possible.Just like its only a money machine.
