What ruined our holiday most was the theft of a nearly full bottle of Gucci perfume from our room by cleaning staff the day before checkout. We only realised it was missing while travelling to the airport, after confirming that neither of us had it and that it had not been left behind. It was upsetting to think that a paying guest’s belongings could be taken from the room.The rest of the stay was equally disappointing. The food was consistently cold and tasteless, the desserts all seemed and tasted identical, and the breakfast cereal was stale. We ate out a few times simply to have food with some flavour. Most staff appeared miserable and snappy; the only friendly exception was the lovely member of staff in the downstairs bar.There was no entertainment during our five day stay, with the board displaying “Day off” every day, leaving guests with very little to do. The sun loungers were washed each morning but left soaking wet, so using them meant getting wet clothes and towels. The rooms were extremely basic, with stains on the toilet from previous guests, and the communal toilets were consistently unclean. Golden Sands was also almost deserted in September, just out of season, so there was very little happening locally. Check the resort’s seasonal atmosphere carefully before booking.Overall, this was an extremely disappointing holiday due to the missing perfume, poor food, lack of entertainment, basic and unclean facilities, and generally unwelcoming atmosphere.

Amazing experience!!! I stayed there with for a week, and left very happy. Rooms were clean, food was very tasty and I like the pool zone. Also animation in this hotel is so good, adults and kids liked it very much. Thank to the Ivan, Martin, Simo, Martina and Gabi. I will come back in this hotel next year!
