Location

The hotel is situated in the famous Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Golden Sands, only 150 metres from the beach and 18 km from Varna, the pearl of the Black Sea. The hotel lies amidst a beautiful tranquil park of sycamore trees and the calmness and comfort of the natural surroundings adds to the hotel’s hospitality. The nearest airport is Varna International Airport, 18 km from the hotel.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2022. 37 apartments and 241 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by 4 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee (subject to availability). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a page service and a hotel doctor.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living area and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools (no extra charge). Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. The pool area also includes a hot tub (for a fee), a waterslide and a pool bar. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers bocce (no extra charge). Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, yoga, aerobics and table football. There is a wellness area with a sauna and a steam bath and, for an additional fee, a spa, a hammam and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a kids' disco.

Meals

The dining area includes a lobby bar. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A hot breakfast buffet provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, kosher food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as house favourite brands are included.

    I stayed at this hotel from Monday until Thursday, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.Parking: the biggest issue. I arrived on Monday at 3 PM and left on Thursday at 9 AM, so my car was actually parked for 2 full days. However, I was charged for 4 days of parking (100 BGN), which is completely unfair. On top of that, when I arrived, I was told that the hotel parking was full and was sent to leave my car 1 km away. I was promised a shuttle service to reach my car anytime I needed, but on the day of departure, despite having paid the full parking fee, I was rudely told to walk there on foot.Room: dirty and poorly maintained. I left the “clean the room” sign on the door, but the cleaning staff only removed the sign and never actually cleaned the room.Hotel and organization: very crowded. The internal rules regarding meal shifts (by floor) are not respected, creating chaos. Elevators are overcrowded and insufficient.The only positive point: the food, which was good and varied.Overall, the service was far below expectations. The way the parking staff and cleaning staff behaved was unacceptable. I will definitely not return and I do not recommend this hotel.

    Prestige Hotel & Aquapark, Bulgaria – a scam from start to finish. 3 days with the same towel, and if you want to change it, it’s 10 leva. The food? The same every single day, bland and unimaginative. The room smells like garbage because of the dumpsters right outside. They lied about having a beach – there isn’t one! And if you want a sunbed, it’s 12 leva. All-inclusive only in name; in reality, it’s all-exclusive. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my worst enemies.

    Hotel îs clean , service and food very good. Unfortunately the state of the rooms are not as good…we found some bathroom appliances with rust and worst of all was a broken shelf in the bathroom with which I injured myself very badly cutting my finger.

    The worst experience in this "hotel" changed our understanding of the word "Prestige" (with which the place is named) forever. We stayed with family and friends and had five rooms for a whole hellish week. Thank you to "Tez tour" for the ruined vacation. First of all, I don't understand why the motel is called a five-star hotel?!🤯 The first impression is the entrance through a garbage dump, the service staff is not just incompetent, but complete not in place where they'rebelong. I even watched the cleaning lady directly attack the guests all week, harass them and constantly nag at everyone and just spoil the mood. Everywhere all drinks, coffee, tea, wine, beer, cocktails, etc. everything is made in thin plastic glasses, just mountains of plastic. A number of people have injured their feet in the loosen pool tiles and much more...

    A nice waterpark. But they are not organised. No info outside that children have to be 140 cm to ride alone. some slides they ride home they cant here. They told us that all was opend but 25% was closed. Overall it was ok but i could be better. But in the end after we talk to the boss the boys could go alone this time. And we told them that info outside would be great so the guests know before they pay entrance. The food took forever to get in and the toilets was 10 min walk to get to. The entrance fee was good 10€ for 15+ and 5€ for children. The children had a good time and we also enjoyed som slides.
