    The rooms are average, the gym is very small without air-conditioning very hot and only basic equipment. The pool is small

    This hotel was a very well kept property 3 years ago when I first came to Phnom Penh I stayed at the Dara Hotel by the old airport. It was a very good place to stay - clean and well maintained. I believe that it has fallen into lower quality. The bathtubs have black mold growing that bleach can remove. The tile grout needs to be removed and caulked. Grout and caulk is missing and split at the joints between walls and counters. The hair dryer in my bathroom was not working. The beds are very hard, like sleeping on granite. Check-in could have been smoother as the person didn’t seem very interested in explaining amenities. I’m not recommending this hotel to anyone who thinks they are coming to a 4 or 5 star property.

    The hotel is very close to the airport, so great for getting a good night of sleep before catching an early morning flight, which was our case since our final destination was Siem Reap. The room was clean, but the bed was too hard, as were the pillows. There is a bar that serves food and a larger restaurant. The resto was pretty good. Cannot comment on the other facilities.     Decent Hotel near the airport

    Friendly and polite staff. Large and clean rooms. Food was average, but there are many restaurants within walking distance. OK, if you want to stay near the airport, e.g. layover. meetings. etc. It is only about 10 minutes from the airport.     We needed a place to stay for a night that would give our team a little comfort as many had traveled many hours with detours and delays. The Dara was perfect. The rooms we spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The fitness center had enough to get a workout in. The restaurant for dinner was really really good and the breakfast buffet was delicious. One interesting fact, when we arrived there was no one in the lobby to tell us the hotel lobby in on the 5th floor. It took us a few minutes to figure that out.
