Location

This popular city hotel is located in the heart of Phnom Penh, only a few minutes on foot from the banks of the Mekhong River. Numerous tourist attractions, such as the Wat Phom Pagoda, the National Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Central Market, can all be found in the near surroundings. In addition, guests will also find a wide range of shops and restaurants here. Transfer to the airport takes just 15 minutes.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in an 8-storey building with a lift and 138 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, billiards and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments.     I first stayed at Sunway Hotel in 2007, and since then I have stayed there over 30 times! Apart from the spacious and comfortable rooms, the ideal location, and the delicious food served in the restaurant, the staff members are one extra reason I always choose to stay there. No matter what time I arrive, the staff members are always there, eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. A couple of times, they even kept the restaurant open until very late for my party and me! Special thanks to Mrs Ravy, who even mended the zipper of my backpack at the reception area while I was having dinner with my team on my last visit on 16 February! Looking forward to my next trip in April!     We had a fantastic stay here. From the moment We checked in, the service was really nice. The room was exceptionally clean and well. We especially loved and enjoyed Our stay.     Very outdated hotel. Aircon in this hotel seems to be a common issue amongst travellers. Lobby is hot as ever! Totally no AC, luckily checkin was quick. AC in room warm, even after trying to adjust temperature settings. High bathtub without handles are not ideal for handicapped/pregnant women. They have only 2 handicapped rooms with standing shower. Breakfast, below par. Hotel doesnt seem crowded at all. Shops are NOT 5 mins walk away as told by front desk. Overall, stay elsewhere. Give this outdated hotel a hard pass.
