Location

The resort is located just 7 km from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat, the jewel in the crown of the Angkor Temple Complex at Siem Reap. This property is a blissful oasis located perfectly for the restaurants and attractions of Siem Reap. All of the area’s historical sites are easily accessible from the hotel. The Angkor Wat Temples are a short 15-minute drive away while the town centre is only a 5-minute walk.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 28 rooms and 24 suites. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. AMAZING!! I’ve been to many nice hotels and personally this one is definitely up in the top 3, it’s tied with another hotel i went to in Spain and that one was an all inclusive beach resort and I can’t choose which I like more! I love this hotel I would definitely come back. The staff is so nice and happy to help it was a very joyful nice atmosphere. 11/10!! They were so good at explaining culture and food. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a hotel!! They are so kind and the service is so good i literally have zero complaints. I have trouble feeling relaxed but here I actually felt relaxed!! I am beyond satisfied with my experience and I can not recommend enough!! Definitely would put it as the place to be. This hotel was recommended so highly by both a friend and by a family member that I canceled previous reservations. They were right. It’s an experience all its own! We booked the extra amenities (spa, meals, etc). We made tour reservations thru them and SO GLAD! Huge shout out to Sinet for being our tour guide at the Angkor Mat temples!!! He accommodated the tour to exactly what fit my kids (18,14, 9) and me. Spa was great. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are fancy. Food was delish. Show was a go. And the service was superb. Stay here and you’ll be glad. I had a fantastic stay at Golden Temple Residence. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The service throughout my stay was excellent, with the team always ready to assist with transport, local recommendations and anything I needed.The hotel has a lovely traditional Cambodian style, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, making it a great place to rest after visiting the temples and exploring Siem Reap.The location is also excellent, close enough to the main areas for restaurants, shopping and nightlife, but still quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. The breakfast and hotel facilities were very good, and the overall value for money was excellent.I would definitely recommend Golden Temple Residence to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
