    A beautiful oasis of calm

    We booked a Colonial Suite with pool and our son, who joined us on a break from his 6 month backpacking across SE Asia, a bungalow suite.Everything was superb - the room was large, bed very comfortable, modern shower, toiletries, UK 3 pin plugs, 4 towels - 2 for the plunge pool. Our only issues were the step down from the bed which of course I missed the first day and bruised myself on the bathtub in the main room (?). The wash basin was in the main room not separate - but that's OK. Our plunge pool was welcome and you could swim and it was warm.The grounds are lovely, the pool shaded and warm. You'd never believe there was a vibrant city being the doors.Breakfast was very good but served up a spiral staircase. If you had mobility issues then that might not suit you. Though I'm sure you could have a table downstairs.All the staff were so friendly and helpful booking restaurants. The locations was good and of course, with Grab you can get a tuk tuk within a minute.Highly recommended.

    An excellent hotel, an oasis of calm in a busy city. It's a little way out of the centre (Pub Street etc), but that's easily reached by an interesting walk along the river bank (about 25 minutes) or by hiring one of the plentiful tuk-tuks (5 minute trip, and not much more than a dollar using the highly efficient Grab app). The hotel environment is tranquil, with a superb large pool at its heart. It's very pleasant to sit alongside enjoying lunch or a cocktail. Breakfasts were good quality, although we couldn't quite understand why they took place on the upper floor, requiring the hardworking staff to climb a spiral staircase to deliver food and coffee while the ground floor was empty. Our room, a suite with a generously sized private plunge pool, was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom facilities were slightly inconveniently arranged, with the hand wash basin, mirrors and dressing table part of the main room rather than being separate. The bed was huge and comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. Staff were always cheerful and friendly, especially the lady who toiled up the staircase with our breakfasts - I wish I had asked her name so I could compliment her direct! Phyrun - a name I have remembered - was very helpful with luggage and any queries at reception. All in all, a terrific stay, the best we experienced while in Cambodia.     Our stay at Heritage Suites Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected care, quality, and a genuine commitment to guest experience.The outdoor pool suite was stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly spacious. Having a private bath alongside such a large, serene outdoor area made it feel like a true retreat. It was peaceful, private, and thoughtfully designed for complete relaxation.The children stayed in an outdoor jacuzzi room, which they absolutely loved. Like our suite, it was spotless, stylish, and offered a great sense of space and comfort. The beds throughout the hotel were impressively large and extremely comfortable, making it easy to fully unwind.Fresh fruit and drinks were consistently superb—always fresh, beautifully presented, and generously provided. The food, in general, was exceptional. We ended up dining at the hotel four times, and every meal exceeded expectations in both quality and presentation.We always went with the food recommendations and Tola was wonderful.We cleared every meal.We live in Thailand and were very very impressed with all the food and prices.What truly elevated our stay was the service. It was unlike anything we’ve experienced before—warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. A special mention goes to Tola, our hostess, who made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout. Service was always fast, yet never rushed, and the level of detail in everything—from room preparation to dining—was outstanding.We also enjoyed a couples massage during our stay, and it was worth every penny. The setting was perfect—peaceful, beautifully arranged, and deeply relaxing.Our drivers were all wonderful, we booked with the hotel for the tour of Angkor Wat and other temples our guide Mr Chan was absolutely phenomenal his knowledge was inspiring.My family have left Cambodia with a wealth of knowledge.
